I've had quite a few. So far i've gotten the following
Thorn
Invective
Bad Juju
Pocket infinity
Super Good Advice
I have noticed that 3 are always available.
Thorn
Invective
Bad Juju
2 That are not available after selecting 1 of them
Pocket Infinity
Super Good Advice
I had selected the Pocket Infinity as soon as it popped. I have never seen either bounty again. Currently working on my 2nd Bad Juju though, also got thorn bounty again last night, but promptly abandoned it because it sucks ass, and is very time consuming.
Please respond to the poll... I am curious if this is by design (forcing you to pick a direction) or if this is a problem.
This isn't a cry baby post, I'm just curious if I will get a chance for this.

I've had 5 Vanguard Missives since the original post. Still only getting the same 3. I've tried most of the solutions tied to this thread. I'll keep you posted.

After carrying around a few bounties in my inventory i finally got "A Voice in the Wilderness" bounty. About Damn time

I cannot remember if the character that did A Voice in the Wilderness already had an Exotic Weapon Bounty active from the regular set or got an Exotic Weapon Bounty from the regular set before he completed A Voice in the Wilderness.

I've gotten Super Good Advice and Pocket Infinite a long time ago. I dismantled before The Dark Below DLC was released. Since then I've only gotten the same 3 Exotic Bounties each and every time...which has probably been close to 30 or 40 times since The Dark Below. A light in the dark, Toland's Legacy, and Dubious Task are THE ONLY exotic bounties that show up anymore. I am no longer able to get a Pocket Infinite or Super Good Advice. Bungie should have had this addressed a long time ago.

I Get Them All Quite Equally, Done 3 Bad Juju, 3 Thorn, 1 Invective, 3 Pocket Infinity, 2 Super Good Advice, Never Noticed Any Bias To The Options Really

6 RepliesOnce you complete and have Bad Juju, Thorn and Invective the bounties for Pocket Infinity and Super Good Advice will show up. But you have to complete the other ones first.

Yeah had this issue before but juju thorn and invective probably just have a higher rng roll so they are picked more often. I got my pocket and SGA when they were lumped in with 2 of the main three as options. Just keep doing those bounties and they will pop eventually.

The only realiable way I have found for the pocket infinity and SGA to pop up are by finishing the other 3 (shitty juju, 'vective and thorn) and leaving them AT completion and NOT cashing them in, just leaving them waiting to be completed. When I had this set up the next few bounties were, pocket infinity and SGA! Pocket even showed up again when I left this set up running. So this does SEEM to work. Good luck!

There are 2 sets of exotic bounties: thorn+invective+bad juju and pocket infinity+super good advice+bad juju. Every time you get a exotic bounty missive you are offered one of the 2 sets. The sets are weighted to offer thorn+invective+bad juju more often. If you already have some exotic bounties active and you are offered another one, your choices may be limited or nonexistent because it's trying to offer bounties you already have and you can't have 2 of the same bounty at a time.

Just save two of the exotic bounties in your inventory and it will give you the other set to choose from this is how I forced it to give me pocket infinity and SGA

3 RepliesI'm working on all three right now, thorn, bad juju and just got invective this morning. Very daunting task the first two I really don't know how long they are going to take me as I am the worlds worst pvp player by far. Maybe by the time Destiny 10 comes out I'll finish the thorn bounty. But I thought it strange that I have all three at once? Or is that common? Thanks and love this game best I ever played!

3 RepliesThe bounties are random, but the game WILL NOT give you a bounty you already have. So if you have inventive bounty, it can still roll that option, but then it simply wont' show up on your list when you get a new one, you'll get have a set of 2 to choose from. Anyways I've had them all multiple times, so dont' think too hard about it, just keep getting them, working though them as you can. You've gotten all 6 at this point anyways.

I'm really glad that someone else has noticed this!!! Ten times in a row, its Thorn, Bad JuJu, and Invective in that order. I feel your pain, brother!!

I have never, not once, gotten the opportunity for SGA or Pocket Infinity. I think it's random, but I've just had terrible luck with them.

My Warlock currently has in progress -Bad Juju -Thorn -Invective -Pocket Infinity So I think it's random. He's completed the Pocket Infinity and Super Good Advice bounties before.

Those are currently the only exotic bounties that can be acquired, until they release "the fate of all fools". And unfortunately I get the same 3 constant, every now and again I'll get the chance at the other 2. But if you already have all 5 you'll be working towards exotic shards at that point. As someone previously stated, it's just RNG.. -Xbox one

1 ReplyPS4 - This is no more of an issue than the strange way that you get multiple drops of the same item once you get the first one. How many times have people gotten an exotic and then had the same thing drop again (and again). It feels like something in the RNG process retains items and defaults to them. [i]The issue isn't specific to exotic bounties, but is prevalent through the whole system.[/i] (example: I have received 2 exotic drops in my Crucible career - both being No Land Beyonds...) Anyway, I had the same experience as you in the first few months with 8/10 being the first group and now lately it seems to be split more evenly. I have them all, so the only one I always grab is the SGA exotic shard bounty.

But my friend's gotten the SGA three times and the Pocket infinity one once. Edit: Another thing- when you select an exotic bounty, you can't get a duplicate one until you finish the first. So, if i have the invective bounty, and I get a second missive, it won't appear as an option. Same would go for SGA and Pocket Infinity. Is that what's happening?
