There should be more ways to get Eris Rep
I think it takes too long to level up Eris rep. She only has 5 bounties a day and one is for the nightfall and one is usually a class specific one.
You should get her rep for doing her story missions and strikes. And she should have her own patrol missions on the Earth and Moon.

I think it's fine. Makes getting to 32 rewarding. I was in the same boat as you, grinding the little rep everyday. But I got to rank 4 and I felt so accomplished. It feels good to finish the grind
