Why do people use the crota gear in VoG?
The weapons and armor you get from VoG is optimized for VoG. Of course you dont need to wear the armor, but some people require you to wear raid gear or be higher level.

Because they are retards. That little more defense means shit and the perks of VoG armor are obviously way better for VoG than the CE ones.
