How guardian customization SHOULD be.
So as I've been playing Destiny, I've noticed that really, [b]everybody looks the same[/b]. It's really kind of annoying, so here's a few ideas I have to make customization better in the game. Feel free to give feedback or post your own ideas!
Armor customization:
Bungie should do what DC Universe Online
and other games have done. As you collect gear, it saves what that gear piece looks like, even after you delete it. So when you use good gear, you can keep its perks, but then there's an "image" screen where you can pick what style you want to use, [i]and[/i] you can customize your 3-color color scheme however you want instead of looking for stupid shaders!
Ship customization:
Custom paint jobs on ships. You'd still collect ships like you do now but you can change the color, add a few decals or livery jobs, etc.
Facial customization:
Give more customization options for your guardian's face, and add a barber/plastic surgeon to the tower. He could change your face, hair, heck even your race or gender. Yes that sounds weird but there are games that allow stuff like that. It would be a good way to change things up.
Ghost customization:
Customize the color of your ghost's shell and the color of the little beams of light they throw out. Or you could unlock new shells to use from factions IB, CB, and/or raids. Might be kinda cool even if it's mostly pointless.

For ship customization I would like to see different parts you could put together. This would create a multitude of different looking ships.

The only customization I want to see is a rare to legendary consumable, sort of like etheric light. Only for gear and it would convert them to 42 light, only want it because the playstation exclusive gear and some blue gear look really nice

If any of those features [i]ever[/i] get implemented it will be behind a paywall.

We also need to be able to add age, height, and weight. I mean it would be pretty cool to be a slender-guardian or be Just a regular self absorbed pre teen. It would add so much more variety.

It all sounds good except character facial tweaks....you were born with that mug....and as far back as I can remember.....God gave it to you...LOL

I've found so many blues that look better than the purples I normally wear. Would be nice to change it up and still be combat effective.

How about bringing back old vendor gear so people have different options what to use. I hate that bungie just removed the old things. Bring them back for mor customization. Bump

Shaders for everything and like a place to change your person,like beards etc and make your person how tall you want and how buff or how fat or skinny like that.
