There's a feature on world of warcraft called transmogrification where you can change the appearance of your gear by replacing with something you want without changing the stats of what you currently had. This is simply just to change your appearance and keep the stats you already had. For an example, I have Willbreakers Fists for the Titan but I wanted to change the appearance of it to a vanguard shoulder without changing the stats. I believe this feature should be implemented into Destiny because I would like to look different from others. I'm sure this goes for many others also. That would be pretty awesome.
