@Deej
Hey i know you probably wont read this but i have an idea that seems pretty cool to me.
So it is a survival-ish game mode PvE.
It is in the black garden and it is a 2-6 player fireteam. What happens is each member spawns at a different part of the maze and the goal is to survive and also each person get to the center of the maze while also each person has a set amount of lives depending on the difficulty. Once everyone gets to the center their is a platform that you have to stand on and defend from vex while it generates the staircase or teleporter out of the black garden everytime a player dies a set of easy to hard oracals. Then once the set of oracles has been defeated the player respawns and everybody on the fireteam gains an additional life. Once the gateway out of the maze has been complete and the fireteam left the maze the team gets the rewards.

I'll cut to the chase we need match making in every thing. So in my opinion this is the difference between having a in game matchmaking and what we use today outside of the game for group matching. Today's way of endgame matchmaking. 1-Pick up phone 2-find lfg app that's wasting space on my phone 3- find a group that doesn't require the freaking gjallarhorn because I dont have one 4- once you find the group go into the message friend option on the console 5- try to spell the extremely long and ridiculous name of the person in charge of the group. 6- wait for response 7-get no response 8- repeat steps 1 through 6 9- finally get response 10- get Into group 11- halfway through RANDOM group people go afk or group fails. 12- repeat steps 1 through 11 The way it should be...... 1- start game 2- push matchmaking button 3-play game 4-have fun The elite payers can still have their pugs people can still solo and the none elites can have matchmaking we all win!!!! All I ask is for the option.

i am moving this to the Feedback forum where the designers can see it.

You know what would be a really great game mode? A big team battle against a huge amount of enemies.

I like the idea of a labyrinth, with a nigh-unstoppable Minotaur hunting your fireteam while you overcome obstacles and other monsters to get to the middle. Alternate routes could be taken to get to hidden loot, and maybe the labyrinth could change paths every ten minutes or so to keep you on your toes Fits with Greek mythology so well :D

BUMP !

Huh interesting. I would remove the oracles though personally. Lives could be gained by getting a certain number of kills instead

bump good idea.

Bump, cool idea

if you want to shoot oracles play VOG, this sounds boring as a shit.

This makes me excited about the game. I hope they take notice of this idea!

I like the idea. I would like to try soloing something like this but I still sounds fun nonetheless

Edited by GeminiSnakev2: 4/21/2015 4:51:39 AMSounds better than a lackluster horde mode. That would be more unique because Bungie should know that it's not time for a simple horde more att. Wait till their are more enemy archetypes.

the guardians have spoken..... bump

There could be an increasing number of rooms for each difficulty, and one large boss room at the end. When you finish you could get some cool armor, and some of that planets resources or an engram

Bump. awesome ideas. I always thought it would be cool to do a randomly generated map list (think the dark tunnels in the moon, or a cabal bases, etc) where the enemies and the layout are random aside from a couple basic rules to ensure things are reasonably difficult but possible. Idk, with a game that requires us to play the same levels countless times to level up everything and such... It becomes very monotonous at times. Particularly if you play with the same squad regularly as you'll quickly get a system down for each level. Even raids are that way... Which sucks, because my best memories with the game were those early "oh s***!" moments where you're scrambling to communicate with your friends on the fly to figure something out. I think the randomness thing would help bring that back... Sure sometimes it would suck or something buggy might happen due to the inherent random nature, but it'd bring back that element of surprise. Anyway, long rant about something that is likely impossible, but I liked your ideas and it made me think.

That would be interesting but maybe some for more areas
