Skyrim + Pokémon
For years I've been saying that Nintendo NEEDS to release a skyrim level mmo for Xbox/ps and yeah I know they're all about the handhelds and the wii but this could not only make them billions EASY, I mean honestly who wouldn't buy something like this?? Nintendo could be back at the top of the gaming community!! Oh and -blam!- the new Pokemon personally I'd say keep it OG with 1st gen Pokemon, the way most of us grew on...and the way all of us SHOULD have grown up!! Anyone else think this is a good idea??

10 RepliesThere will never be a main console Pokemon RPG because Nintendo: 1. Hates money. 2. Doesn't want their biggest handheld franchise divided across two consoles even though that's retarded reasoning. Although, doing models and full animations for every possible attack for like 800 Pokemon plus creating the world and its inhabitants is gigantic.

9 RepliesIts possible for sure. There would be some things you would need to figure out with making a 2D game into a 3d game. Espesially one with turn based combat. Would the combat be real time (control the pokemon you are battling with) which would remove the possibity of dual battles and such. The other option is to go turn based. Stadium style. Now the problem is getting into combat. I know a lot of JRPGs do it this way. So you would bump into the pokemon and the battle would start. Also the story would need to be switch up. and then there is the problem of level scaling and all that jazz.

Also only gen 1? I have to be honest but having all regions sounds ten times better. Make it have Co-Op so you can play with your buddies (exploring around, trading, battling) and Nintendo has a good thing going.

Open world pokemon MMO with mutliple regions, multiple gen pokemon, and action based combat where you take control of your pokemon and have a skill bar with different attacks with a cooldown timer.

What about you choose which region you wish to start in? Like Kanto (there's other ones don't even know their names or which one that is anymore.)Depending on the region you'd be given the choice of those starters(I know everyone would pick charmander so all you have to do to win is pick squirtle or one of the other water types) also since charmander starter zone would be obvsly over populated there's be a shortage of materials this encourage everyone to move on to a different zone.
