Is DragonsBreath useless against Crota?
Tell me, who use the DragonsBreath against Crota?
Or Gjallahorn / HoC - Master Race ?

Close to it. You be better if with a legendary rocket lunch with tracking then that.

Dont use Dragons Breath EVER. Not only will Crota dodge it meaning no DPS if you do hit and cause a solar flare it will make it harder for the swordbearer as Crota will move around. Any tracking Rocket Launcher will work just fine or if not just a standard one with a good blast radius.

Edited by PedalOnTheRight: 3/6/2015 10:22:35 PMI prefer HOC (have Ghorn) so I can use Red Death in the Crota encounter Kind of afraid to use Dragons Breath since it tends to make enemies move away from the solar flare - and I have HOC/Ghorn/Truth so.... I DO like Dragons Breath on the Death Singer when she is frozen in place - burn baby burn! Three shots of DOT Also seems effective on shriekers, soul of crota crystal, some other situations My warlock seems to have exclusive rights to my DB since for some reason I think it goes with his other firebug tendencies Truth should be fine on Crota, triple shot could help cover for someone who is out of ammo - it tracks and goes boom.

6 RepliesIt was me and my team against Crota. We worked hard to get there. We must've slaughtered hundreds of Hive. It was time for Crota to meet his end. We killed the swordbearer, the Hunter grabbed the relic of power, the rest of the team got in their positions. "Fire", the Hunter yelled. We fired our rockets. They consisted of Truth's, Vanguard Launchers, the mighty Gjallarhorn, and one soul with the Dragon's Breath. Crota went down, the Hunter pouring his heart and soul into that sword as it cut into Crota's flesh. It continued for another cycle. We fired our rockets. A few seconds later, Crota lied dead at our feet. And then the first Dragon's Breath rocket hit.

If Crota is standing still it's good. Because of the solar flare Crota won't regain his shield for a short time if you all have to reload.

Damn it, the DragonsBreath looks so cool but it seems pretty useless. First time i used the DB against Crota everyone was like "You idiot use your Gjallahorn" :(

Well with the new glitch with pushing him off the edge I bet everyone is gonna start using dragons.

Any rocket will do, if you can aim.
