BUFF Invective.
Invective is the single most underwhelming exotic in all of destiny. In PVE it can be very useful at times, but its incredible low reload rate as opposed to its automatic firing rate quickly becomes both frustrating and annoying especially in heroic and nightfall content. In PVP, it is even worse! What should be a glorified automatic shotgun with awesome range, feels like im holding the airsoft version of a shotgun when it more often than not takes me 2 and sometimes 3 hits to kill someone while there are still a handful of legendary and rare shotguns that can accomplish a OHK from the same distance. I find it incredible frustrating (not to mention bullshit as well) that at max range it could take me my entire clip to take someone down, while from the same distance someone with the legendary felwinter's lie can can take me down in on hit.
And lets also not forget that the invective perk NEVER actually procs.

4 RepliesInvective is currently one of the more OP guns to use during confluxes in VoG hard. It lacks range because it has a ridiculous fire rate. The Invective perk does work, but I think you're forgetting that each round charges at the same rate as the Icebreaker, not each magazine. This means that it takes as long to gain one full magazine on Invective as it does to charge 4 rounds on Icebreaker. The regen rate could afford to be buffed up a bit, however, you do still have the option of picking up ammo from the ground, unlike Icebreaker. Just forget about trying to go head-to-head with someone rolling a Felwinter or Judgement with Hammer Forged and Shot Package. There's no many guns that can compete with that setup.
