The Last Word is Double Action
Turns out your guardian is just pulling the hammer back on the Last Word as a novelty--not because it's single action! If you half-pull the trigger it actually animates the hammer moving without your hand.

With a lot (if not all) double actions you can hold the trigger down and actuate the hammer with your other hand, which can fire the gun at a very fast rate. Hella inaccurate though. I've got an old .22 revolver that I can do this with. Lot's of fun.
