Exotic Class Item Ideas!
So, I just decided to post some ideas for exotic class items! I'll add others as I think of them, and you can feel free to post ideas of your own below!
The class items WILL use the exotic armor slot. For those wondering why people would pick these over normal exotics, think of this:
Without Class Item:
3-4 armor buffs, 0-1 exotic buff.
Max of 4 buffs. (No class item buff)
[i]With[/i] Class Item:
4 armor buffs, 1 exotic buff.
Total: [i]5[/i] buffs.
(Class item gives extra buff)

Gunslinger:
Cloak of the Winds
[spoiler]Faster movement speed while sprinting. Chain of Woe and Gunslinger's trance now stack up to 4 times.[/spoiler]
BladeDancer:
Cloak of Shadows
[spoiler]You ping fewer times on enemy radar while crouching. Grants ecscape artist or Backstab perks for Blink Strike.[/spoiler]
Striker:
Mark of the Battle Scarred
[spoiler]Shoulder Charge activates sooner, and can be controlled more easily. [/spoiler]
Defender:
Mark of dawn
[spoiler]Ward of dawn damages enemies inside of it. Carry more heavy ammo.[/spoiler]
Voidwalker:
Bond of Time
[spoiler]Nova Bomb cools down faster, and slows movement.. Blink 10% further.[/spoiler]
Sunsinger:
Bond of the Flame
[spoiler]Radiance grants the Viking Funeral perk while active, and instantly starts with two grenades..[/spoiler]
[i]edit: bladedancer cloak nerfed, defender mark and warlock bonds buffed.[/i]

these are a very cool idea because im sure alot of people that raid and want to use their raid armor would love to have the option of using an exotic class bond/mark/cape instead!

I'd like a exotic titan mark that let me hold 2 exotic weapons.

Class items count as armor pieces, they might as well make an exotic armor piece with the same perks

Interesting, but not enough to use an exotic slot

If they do implement something like this then I hope that the make it so that you can actually join a faction insead of having to wear their ugly class items.... well actually I think that they should do this regardless because faction class items are fug and I REALLY wanted to wear those awesome warlock bonds that the speaker sells but still be able to level up the factions.

I feel like these would be great but keep in mind this would take up your exotic slot so its ok if these are a little OP these ideas are pretty bad

Gunslinger cloak isn't very good imo. I'm not going to notice a fourth stack on those perks. Maybe it gives the have 2 throwing knives perk?

Shoulder charge is pretty easy to control but it's a good idea all together

I like these ideas but I feel like it wouldn't really be worth it because you can have only one exotic armor equipped at a time.

There use to be exotic class items for factions but it seems they were taken out because they no longer come up on destiny db, which is sad because they looked wayyyy better than the current faction class items

1 ReplyCrap i voted for the wrong thing, great ideas though i think the defender titan one is too broad and doesn't grant a significant ability to the sub class as the rest but thats just my opinion, great work!

Bungie wouldn't be able to do this, as much as we wish they would do it. Maybe a double reputation gains to all reputations. Cool ideas though

having class items and weapons give str, int, disc, and have class items give abilities in general would be cool. through all the rarity levels
