The traveller spreads it's light further each day after destroying the heart of the black garden. The queen has granted us pass through the reef after guardians destroyed the enemies of her majesty. The guardians travel to the regal planet of Saturn. New missions and strikes await you on saturn but a massive dome is where true legends are made. A group of exo strangers ambush and capture you when you get inside. They ask what is your purpose here in the Arena of Crixus. You say "I come to destroy the darkness." a larger exo man steps forward assuming to be the one in charge smiles and says "Ahhhh a guardian, of the traveler's light." "Killing the darkness is something we can 'help' you with." You take a step back and ask "what do you mean you'll help me?" The leader laughs and replies "Oh you will get to destroy darkness alright. Not as guardian, but as a Gladiator!" From there you are forcibly teleported into the massive arena, around you is rubble from broken buildings and statues. You hear a strange voice tell you that you need to survive 5 waves of combat each wave increasing in difficulty ending with a boss. When you win you are free to leave but are welcomed back to compete in other events with choices of fighting hive, fallen, vex, or cabal the the strange arena has captured to fight you. 30 to 50 waves of combat with modifiers changing every few waves. Great rewards await for those gladiators brave enough to take on the champions of the Arena of Crixus. This is just a first draft and a quick idea.
