Account was deleted by some rando that deceived that kid into thinking he would be getting a higher character due to a glitch. I agree that he should play the game, but come on. Besides the ban/deletion would be coming from Bungie and not some pedo. Come on Bungie help this kid out with something.

Regardless of what he does, or was trying to do, he shouldn't have had his characters deleted. I bet you 9 out of every 10 people that says he deserves it, would cry and try to destroy shit and demand something be done about it. Every cheats/glitches/exploits video games. It's a part of video games. I do and will continue to do it.

Maybe this kid doesn't have any friends at school. Maybe his dad hits him. Maybe he has no dad and his mom is slangin' it out in the streets. Maybe his PS4 and games like Destiny are all this kid has. Not saying that's the situation but nevertheless this is wrong on so many levels :( really makes my blood boil and its a shame this kid had to learn his lesson in such a awful way.

Normally I get up on Friday mornings wondering what Xur has in store for us. Today, I'm rather pissed that a child has been treated this way. It's a sad comment on us all when these things happen, and I know they happen often. This is our community and I don't think we should stand for this. There is no excuse for bullying in any form!!! I would like to see this person held accountable. And I would also like to help the child somehow even if it means giving my own gear to do it. Sage

I feel horrible for that kid. Ultimately he's gonna have to chalk it up to a lesson learned though. He probably should have known better but he's so young and it's just sad that someone would prey on a kid like that just to get a laugh. It makes me sick just thinking about how any grown adult could find joy in doing that to a child. I hope that guy gets his at some point. Unfortunately trolls like that don't really give a damn when they get banned. I hope there are some good people out there on psn that will help this kid and in the end he will be better for it. Its a tough lesson to have to swallow at that age. Shame on that dbag for doing that to this kid. Its one thing to troll on people your own age but leave the kids alone. If there is one type of person that truly is the scum of the earth it is people who prey on children and the elderly. No matter how you cut it, whether the kid was trying to cheat or not, no matter how stupid that kid may or may not be, that is exactly what this scumbag did.

Just because they are on your friends' list doesn't make them any less a stranger) in the hopes of "ranking up" quickly (which is stupid because all of his characters were already past level 20). Sucks that your stuff is gone, it really does... but you get no sympathy from me. Kid brought it on himself. Hey i feel bad for the kid but honostly the kid needs to learn not to trust people that say the can hack, glitch, etc. to get you to a higher lvl and grow up. I am srry if i am harsh but i grew up in a harsh house and i learned not to cry when i get punished. The kid should consider himself lucky that he still can play his game and he has his friends. The guy that deleted his stuff was teaching the kid a lesson, dont give your info to strangers.

I am a very empathetic and kind person; however, he gave access to his account to a stranger in efforts to cheat the game and then cried on his stream. Coming from someone who grinds the game almost everyday that's a really low thing to try to do. Yes it sucks but that is what he gets. And for the guy that did it, he will get what is coming to him.

That man is going to rot in hell When my friend told me about it today I didn't believe him went onto YouTube saw the video now I'm devastated for that kid getting to 31 and getting all lvl 23+ is difficult with the way you find loot. To bad I'm on 360 and one other wise I would personally go and lvl up that kids characters again

Yes a twelve year old deserves to have something that is important to him taken away like that. That's what I think people in other threads are missing. He's not adult that thinks wow I was an idiot. It's a kid that things like that matter to as you can tell by his reaction. Did he learn from it, hopefully. No one in their right mind can say he deserved it.
