Goodness, this gun is in a rough place. I personally haven't gotten one yet but I'm very glad I haven't. While there is charm in a bolt action rifle in Destiny, it simply has too many downsides, including: -the bolt action animation is way too long; I can reload most snipers by the time it takes to prepare one shot for this weapon. -the ammo reserve is horrendously low, making it impossible to use consistently in PvE and annoying in the crucible. -the damage doesn't justify the preparation to take a shot. -I still hear it has lens flare... From iron sights -speaking of iron sights, the ones on this gun take up half the screen when you ADS So yeah, why make an exotic that's so interesting yet so bad? Was It for a deadline? I'm not mad, just perplexed that a gun that looks so cool is so useless. I would just like to see some improvements on reload times, removal of lens flare, cleaning up the iron sights, and more reserve ammo. This is all [i]minimum[/i] in making this gun worthy of being called an exotic. A damage buff would be nice as well, if not a little extreme. I'm asking all of this because not only is No Land Beyond the worst exotic out there, it's probably contending for the worst weapon in the game. Still, it maintains its fun factor when you have some good moments with the gun.
