Ways of keeping the gunsmith relevant
Now i don't know about you guys but i don't think I've ever bought a weapon from the gunsmith. Ive bought heavy ammo packs but thats about it. Even before rank 20 i rarely visited him now after 20 he's pretty much forgotten about. What can be done to bring him back into the game and make him worthwhile?
My idea was he could sell stuff like: skins and panels to change the appearance of favourite weapons. Or scope cross hairs or scope glass colours. I know this sounds a bit COD but it would work.

1 ReplyI'd love for the Gunsmith to buy your excess upgrade materials, including class specific upgrade materials since the Vanguard only sells them now and I have tons of those items. He could also sell the Ascendant Shard/Energy swap like Eris does for Radiants. Most of all, I'd really, really, really like for him to sell an item re-roll for any Legendary item, much like the Iron Banner re-roll mechanic. Since the Vendors' stock perks never seem to change, it would be a way to get a gun you want, the "smith" said gun into something you will actually use.
