Fireteams allowed in Rumble...seriously Bungie?

I just recently started doing Rumble. Mainly for the bounty. I played 3 games with the same people. I started noticing on my "orb" camera that people were not killing each other. So I went to the roster screen, and sure enough there was a fireteam of 3 people and another fireteam of 2 people. I could go on a long hateful rant about wasting my time being fodder for these cheaters, but Im not going to do that. However, I would like an answer as to why this is allowed. Why are teams allowed in free for all?

I asked this same question here months ago. Not only is it unfair for those looking to enjoy free for all crucible matches, but on reddit, someone informed me about an exotic bounty exploit as well. People apparently make new characters, eat it from their friends, then delete said new character whenever their friends complete the hardest part of an exotic bounty. Never seen this in game, but did run into a team of two hunters w/ plan c's who forever ruined my desire to rumble. Until there's confirmation that there will be no coordinated fireteams in Destiny's version of free-for-all, I'm staying clear of this crucible playlist. Does anyone have a legitimate reason for why this is allowed?

  • I actually like the fire teams in rumble. I can bring my team in and grape their ass, or grape the asses of other fire teams.

    • I like to compete against my friends, and not just with points. Its too bad they dont allow 6 man fireteam rumble. I know why they wouldnt, but an all out ffa against clannies would be awesome

        • What are they gaining from this other than to overinflate their egos with k/d stats that don't matter.
