Xur won't sell Gjallarhorn (again) until shortly before HoW to make people come back to destiny, OR until enough people stop playing to lure us back to the grind. They say they don't control Xur but I doubt it, Deej just let it slip that Bungie controls Xur so people asked for Gjallarhorn and they don't want to use an ace when a two will do. So they send Deej out to tell us they don't control him and we will have to wait, and that they can't force Xur to sell things, despite selling the same things on a weekly basis in an effort to promote the DLC. Long story short if enough people quit, then Bungie-vision will fear for its profits on the next DLC's release so they will have Xur sell the Gjallahorn, to encourage people to come back. Mark my words Xur will sell the Gjallarhorn in order to promote the HoW DLC to get people to continue to play Destiny. Some quotes from the community. Jokerman666:I quit yesterday I'm just bored with it. They purposely make xur sell crap and they leave in shards and energy the nightfall rewards to keep an artificial longevity. The number of players WILL DIP DRAMATICALLY in the coming months. Not every one who plays this game is on the forums. So there is no real knowing how many people are fed up with bungles shit and left. So people who say that you're acting like an entitled kid are just dicks. Also the community kinda sucks ass in general... We6er: If you don't think Bungie can control Xur your out of your mind. That being said, it is not an outlandish thought that Bungie would manipulate certain components of the game to encourage further playing. MMOs, which Destiny for the most part is, thrive on replay value. Destiny has unfortunately low replay value. Sure you can do the daily and weekly but it gets boring. Most of the experience is grinding. Faced with this issue, Bungie will have to find a way to keep players playing, especially between DLCs. They will most likely create artificial replay value through just such manipulations. I don't think this game was Bungie's original idea, Activision is more to blame. However, the issue still remains. Trikee: Bungie is like the government. They deal in variations of the truth OctoEnthusiast: They'll sell it again. To get people to come back to the game. All those people that don't want to wait until May for the DLC,found something better to do, and Deej will come by and say something cryptic like "wouldn't a weapon with a bunch of wolves on it be useful in a house full of wolves" or some shit. And people will log on again. Armani g55: Yes I am glad to see this video surface again. Awesome post friend. I must remind you friends, DeeJ commented on this video when it was posted a couple weeks ago and basically stated he did NOT understand (at the time when this livestream happened, which was about 3-4 months ago) how the RNG/ect works, yet as you all can see he basically says, in a comical way, Bungie (specifically the other devs) can completely influence what he sells. Also it is important to note that because he specifically felt the urge to comment on the post, which I am referring to from a couple weeks ago, it also implies that he is doing 'damage control.' It seems Bungie is ABSOLUTELY hiding the truth about Xur's inventory. The fact of the matter is use your logic and reasoning skills. Do not let DeeJ feed you some unsupported statements (cop-outs) and automatically believe him. (RNG aka Gambler's Fallacy = stalling tactic = maintained player base) Edit: h8 us cus they anus Everyone seems to miss the point of this MY POINT is that Bungie can control what Xur drops and they are lying and telling us its RNG when its clearly not. Edit: wat for some reason went from having like 32 likes to having 3, either got reset by bungie, someone made a bunch of alts to dislike, or everyone just decided to shit on my thread. qq My other post on why Gjallarhorn won't break the game. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/99083052
