Genuinely the worst matchmaking I’ve seen out of Bungie in a while
I can excuse getting my back door pushed in ten matches in a row by a 6 stack of guilded flawless players. I can excuse being matched with the same players after it explicitly says they’re breaking up the match to find a better pairing. Hell to some extent, I can even excuse the utterly garbage connection despite the fact that it’s “connection based match making.”
What I can’t excuse is bungie putting me in a team with 2 other people against a team of 6, then not putting anyone in the game with us for SEVEN FULL MINUTES. I can’t excuse the innumerable 4v6 matches that I’ve started. I really cant excuse the 2v6 that happened to me last night when it was 6 solos versus me and a random - 4v4 would have worked just fine.
Don’t get me wrong: I don’t love crucible, I’m not the best at crucible, and I don’t normally play it. But it’s a special event, and this is -blam!- ridiculous.

8 RepliesSBMM is a failure of a system. Everything in Destiny 2 is so backwards. Where the casual playlists have SBMM and the competitive playlist has no ranked base match making. Go into competitive to relax and go into casual game modes to sweat. Ranked needs strict ranked base match making, way more strict than anything SBMM can provide, and casual game modes need CBMM so anyone of any skill level can play without purpose and simple enjoy the game. SBMM has no place in video games and is nothing more than a shield casual players use to shelter themselves from any semblance of accountability.

Yep, I tried a few games this week and that's me done with it. The matchmaking and team balancing are terrible and I'm responding the only way I reasonably can, by no longer participating in that activity. For what it's worth, I don't think there are quitter penalties. I was thrown into a very one sided match in progress and didn't get a warning after quickly leaving.

You stomp some matches you get stomped some matches who cares at least it’s fun and the connections are smooth. W in my book Bungie.

2 RepliesMight be the best Gamemode they ever added. Cbmm, no Fireteam based mm, Rewarded for staying alive instead of being punished and no mercy rule. Reminds me if how fun season 15 was. Getting hate mail every other game and making try hards with major egos rage quit.

It's the connections that are -blam!- awful. Players not taking damage. I do better in Trials before Flawless pool than this broken connection shite

2 RepliesIt’s connection based match making. So they are going to be close to you so that kind of tells me your connection might be the issue. And do you expect to do good in pvp when you yourself said you don’t play it?
