Emblem for those who reached Power Level 1000?
Bungie, I think it would have been really cool if you awarded a special emblem for those who reached power level/light level of 1000+.
There are only a handful of people, me included, who have achieved this mark this season. By handful, I mean somewhere in the neighborhood of about 9-10 people. I'm currently tied for 5th at 1001 but not far from 1002 where I would be tied for 3rd (as per Destiny Tracker at the time of this writing). At present, only Pudgy, bagel4k, and Zupah have a higher light level (id est, a higher artifact power bonus).
Next season, with the soft and hard caps being raised by 10, there will be many more but it would still apply. At present there are some 100-200 people who have hit a power/light level of 990...which next season would translate to 1000.
Please consider adding an emblem to the game for those who reach 1000 light level. Something like that might even encourage more to grind out those extra levels to get that emblem.
Lastly, you could retroactively apply a special emblem for those who achieved it this season of the Undying besides having a different one for the next season of Dawn.

1 ReplyDamn dude. I hit a base of 959 and a +29 artifact... currently at 700,000 of 3,100,000 xp needed for +30. Season rank 448. I put in alot of grind and completed a ton of bounties. Cant imagine 1000 power but will probably hit it before season of the dawn is done.

1 ReplyI made it to 970 and realized I was just wasting time. I called it quits at that point and haven't been playing since. I honestly don't know if I'm going to bother with next season or not. So much wasted time.........

3 RepliesSince I’m not willing to sucker punch you with the obvious, I’ll give you a serious response... Emblems should be for unique achievements that stand on their own. Eventually everyone will be 1000 power, so your emblem would be a short-lived reward that Bungie would be wasting time creating. I appreciate your request but just accept that you are one of the very VERY few who managed to avoid responsibility and no-lif... Nope. I said I wouldn’t do that, and I won’t.
