If a man ask for help you help that man!!!
As a community we can stamp out these leeches charging people for things like the zero hour mission. I just looked at fire teams and over half are people charging money. If Bungie is going to let this continue let’s take away the business!!!

10 RepliesAlot of people in this community dont ever really help people. As you can see on the lfg side, all post generally want some sort of experience or a certain amount of runs completed for said activity. It's pretty annoying. This causes an issue where people cant learn how to do certain activities including raids, special strikes/missions. It's pretty hard to gain experience when nobody gives you a chance to try. Just the other night, I helped a group finish their first run on the SOTP final boss. They had no clue how to do it, but had finished the previous encounters. It took us about 10 or so tries, with patience and chill people we finished it. I was also rewarded with my first anarchy drop. TLDR- helping people isn't required by any means, but it helps the community grow as a whole, and can make somebody's day a little better.

But wouldn't need help if it wasn't for the stupid godamn timer 😑👎 I would have happily explored the maze of tunnels for hours if it wasn't for the stupid timer but instead I've turned the game off and am whining on the forum... Bungie creates fantastic art, scenery, level design and atmosphere but then wants you to run through everything as fast as possible... What a waste... 😑👎 Get rid of the timer and this would be gold 😎👍

I used to feel like you, but then after helping hundreds of people do just about any activity, I learned a big lesson. Most gamers who are too lazy to go out and make friends to play the game are too lazy to return the favor and help others. I have booted many people from our clan for always expecting help and never offering or having an excuse when their help is needed.

7 RepliesThe problem is that when you ask for help you get substandard players, I’m not the greatest (1.13 comp k/) but jesus what are some people doing. Most don’t understand basic strategy or can’t shoot straight. This why there is a market for this, people are tired of soloing with randos that have no business in comp and people’s runs suffer because of it. It’s easier to pay someone to boost you to fabled for a cost that really isn’t that much 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

As much as I don't like the idea of people charging to carry people, if people are willing to pay, then that is on them. The only satisfaction I get is that the people charging for recoveries and carries can't be enjoying the game. They have taken a hobby and turned it into a job. Probably incapable of enjoying a video game anymore, so that is what I choose to focus on. Plus the money can't be that great. We are talking about people who live at home or are on some kind of fixed income to have this kind of time. I'm sure their lives are garbage.

Here’s what I don’t understand. Why would anyone pay money for a weapon in a video game? The game is going to be obsolete as soon as the next one releases, and bungie is just going to make you grind for that same weapon in the new game. It makes absolutely no sense to me, the guns in this game are not game changers.

Agree.....I never turn down a help request. People help me so I help others. It the least I can do. Kuddos for people that help others. This is a game...it not like it's physically hard to help someone.

I wouldn't call it leaching. My suggestion is if you dont like it then dont do it. Be the bigger person find people to help you that wont charge you money and just have fun with the game. At the end of the day it is only a game. Personally I find the guys on LFG who ask people needing a carry or help to have outrageous experience or specific guns to be ridiculous but I just ignore it, work within my clan and friends and find other like minded people. There are still plenty of descent people playing the game.
