Funny story; infusion was added to the game as Bungie's answer to Transmog requests in D1. It was a way for us to more easily use and wear the weapons and armor we wanted and not be stuck with using whatever was highest light. Now they have done a complete 180 on infusion's purpose and here we are back where we started with posts requesting transmog because players in looter games want to keep using their favorite things.
