I feel cheated out of the Jotunn
I'm not saying exotics should be easy to get, but I feel a bit cheated this week.
1) I forged my power frames on the first day of reset when everyone was trying to unlock the forges
2) I follow the instructions on the forges. If a frame says X, I go to X to forge the weapon.
Nothing indicated you could forge your weapons outside their respective forges. I was conditioned for 4 week to forge weapon 1 at forge X and weapon 2 at forge Y. If I tried to forge weapon 1 and forge Y, nothing happened.
You only get 2 chances a week to get the exotic, and I've already wasted mine for being early to the reset and respecting the rules set in motion these past 4 weeks. That's the definition of bull****.
Edit: I didn't read the prompt when the forge was released. I had just finished a comp game and wanted to jump right into another one, so I quickly dismissed the prompt after reading the forge was open.
I guess I now have to grind my other two character to reach max light. Hopefully rng is kind and doesn't repeatedly give me cloaks.

1 ReplyI still have not gotten the bow to drop and I didn't get the new one this week and I did both my powerful frames in the 4th forge. Hell I have only been playing destiny since September and have played 496 hours and I dont have Shards either. You know what I'm not mad because this game is mostly RNG based and I knew what I signed up for when I downloaded it. When they drop I will be that much more excited about them. This gotta have it now mentality is just terrible.

2 RepliesMan, here's the thing. Exotics are there forever so you will have your shot at it soon. We don't always have to get every exotic when they release, give it a couple weeks. If it makes you feel better, I did mine at bergusia and did not get anyway but it's cool, I'll get it soon

2 RepliesUnfortunately, the new forsaken exotic drop rate is so abysmally low that it isn't even worth giving exotics any attention. I stopped caring about them and started calling them yellow legendaries.

4 RepliesYou don't get two chances a week for it. People said the exact same thing about Monarque. I got it on my fourth powerful frame within the same week, and only one character had access to Forges at the time.

7 RepliesJUST forge more using the things u get from daily bounties, only costs 6 each time. I did 4 hand cannons yesterday on 1 character. Unfortunately the fusion didn't drop.

Sorry if you missed it but if you read the onscreen prompt when the forge was unlocked, it said you can forge every weapon there.
