Why would it matter? It's a character in a video game. Not a real person.

You seem to care about your video game characters
-
What makes you say that?
-
Gear and levels

It took me about 1 month to get my warlock from level one to where it is now. Then it took one weekend to get the titan from level one to where it is. Just because I have a couple of high light level characters, doesn't mean I'm invested in them. If they were deleted right now, I really wouldn't give a shit.
-
You don't sound like a very exciting person :/ cold
-
I'm cold for not getting attached to video game characters?? You may need to re-evaluate your priorities in life.
-
Now you're being an assuming asshole. You have zero knowledge on my priorities so telling me to reevaluate them is laughable. Props for trying to show off and sound like some cool stud here but really..(nobody cars)
-
Holy crap! That's the coolest effing story I've ever heard. Can you tell it again? Do you have time?
-
Thank you sir it took me about a minute to make that and yeah I can tell it again. Now you're being an assuming asshole. You have zero knowledge on my priorities so telling me to reevaluate them is laughable. Props for trying to show off and sound like some cool stud here but really..(nobody cars)

A+ for participation.

Appreciated

You say that, yet many people complain about a good storyline or plot, or even good lore. A good character death really does (can add, it can also do the opposite) add a lot of emotion and meaningfulness to the game. That's just me though
-
You do make a really good point. With the story so far in Destiny however, I don't feel any emotional connections to the NPCs. They could kill them all off in the next expansion, and I'd barely even flinch.
