Are you disappointed with the game now?
Im pretty disappointed with this update. Im not going to list a long paragraph about why I don't like it. All I'm going to say is they really dumbed down Destiny to try and grab a larger gaming audience so they can make more money....good job Bungie. All they had to do was tweak the game but they literally turned it on its head and made it worse.

5 RepliesI'm going to say this again, PvP should never be the main reason you balance and screw with weapons. So for that fact, I am very disappointed in the game. So many things they could do to make it better, instead they decided, let's make it "one era of this weapon, then next balance it's the era of this weapon." Which is not good, or fun. It's bland and cheapens the experience.

Did a 34 POE last night and all I can say is WOW. I'm not made it made the game more competitive because before I just ran around with a shotgun and killed all yellow bars. Last night I used the Fatebringer,found verdict and gally all 3 have been -blam!-ed with and it made Quatron a bit more difficult.,but I think it's a good thing. No more come out pop bubble and gally the crap or of him with full heavy and heavy ammo sinth. Those days are done for now. It still kicks Crotas ass..

I just miss the wolves. There's a little fun when a public event is happening and then a pack of wolves show up at the same time when there is no other guardians around.

2 RepliesI think the game is much better. I love the RPG elements added. Patroling, my favorite activity, has been simplified. Higher instances of HVT's and kill missions and the new patrol missions are breath of fresh air. My only concern was the shotgun nerf but they are still wrecking everything. I've hardly noticed the difference to be honest. Auto Rifles feel much more lethal than before. Scout rifles are better than ever. So no I'm not disappointed at all. Love the direction the game is going. It feels like it's about to really hit it's stride in year two.

I just don't like how they're crippling how our fashion. I have no choice now but to wear a class item I hate. Or it lowers my light level. Throwing most of the old armor away also hinders the customization of our characters.

I don't care much for PvP (haven't even played it since the update) so I can't really comment on how effective the weapon patch is for crucible or weather or not the new PvP mode is any fun (consensus seems to agree that Rift sucks). However, the PvE side of things doesn't exactly have anything 'new' other than kiosks and the gunsmith weapon bounties. But this is to be expected as we have to wait until the 15th for the new story line/missions/content (and subsequent raid)- so I don't know why anyone who is in it for PvE would say the update 'sucks'. The quests for the new vanguard class items weren't even challenging, and the faction quests aren't exactly 'motivating' considering their new weapons all seem like garbage- so that's then only thing I feel lacks creativity and could use some work. I am looking forward to the new weapon drops, story, and raid; however, I have a gut feeling we are all in for a huge disappointment and/or will get bored quickly... I hope I'm wrong

Overall I like what I see, but nothing is perfect. People complain that everytime ungie releases a patch, they are already working on the next one. Well, it doesn't work like that. If Bungie wasn't working on the next patch, it would be too late by the time it's time for a paych. An living game, needs constant work. Overall I think Bungie has done a lot with such a new genre.

I only have a problem with Orbs! it's hard to even make 8 orbs with Light Beyond Nemesis.

Does someone have to explain to you why these changes to make it easier for newcomers are necessary for the future of the game? Come on, just think, use that brain a little bit.
