why do titans have one hit meles but if you headshot someone with a throwing knife wich almost never happens it doesnt do shit please buff damage for the precision one not the explosive
-
stop asking for ohk on hunters

4 Replies"Titans have something I don't. GIVE ME IT BUGNIE !"~Hunters Thing is 2 steps backwards and you dodge the shoulder charge on top of the fact shotgun > shoulder charge. Maybe your dinky little knife isn't a OHK is because and follow me here..... it can be used at a range. Seriously if Black Ops and 2 and MW3 taught me anything is OHK throwing knifes are yes awesome but totally broken AF.

23 RepliesYou people think your entitled to everything don’t you? R/entitledscrubs
-
15 RepliesNo that would be the most skill less noobie ohk Throwing knifes already basically ohk and have more tracking than truth.
-
3 RepliesEdited by SlingshotNerd: 8/27/2019 3:20:03 AMHey everybody chill tf out, why not just meet in the middle? If they are within shotgun range/shoulder charge range/Supernova range then make it a one hit kill. BUT any further and it will do its regular damage which will not OHK, so basically the closer the enemy the more damage it will do.
-
2 RepliesI have a suggestion! Why not make the uppercut melee on middle tree arcstrider a ohk? Because it is essentially the exact same thing as shoulder charge, except you have to slide to activate it.
-
9 RepliesSMH, Hunters always feel entitled to everything. You already have the most tools in PVP and now you want a throwing knife that gets kills from long ranges? At least with shoulder charge and handheld supernova you have to be in shotgun range.

1 ReplyEdited by SuperXtream500: 8/28/2019 7:12:10 AMThis is a TITAN thing, for TITANS only. Hunters don’t need to be better than they already are.

3 RepliesLet’s take a dabble into it shall we. So hunters have the furthest melee range tied to the second fastest melee speed. Throwing knife is a melee that has tracking and curves towards enemies. Now gamblers dodge fully recharges your melee when nearby an enemy. Dodge has the fastest cooldown in the entire game. Without perks, mods or exotics. Stay with me! 5 paragon mods brings dodge cooldown to 10.66 seconds. Preparation brings dodge cooldown to 7.23 seconds. Let’s throw on frosstess I know it’s hard to put down your Stompess. Now imagine if the crutch wormhusk wasn’t nerfed. It be even more broken. In the state the game is in Froostees-Rapid Cooldown Increased grenade, melee, and dodge regeneration while sprinting. Dodging increases your sprint speed. So you have an even faster cooldown to a ohk simply by running and just dodging. Six coyote- grants two dodge charges so you’ll always be up on a ohk. Due to gamblers dodge still not requiring a kill. Pairing it with bottom tree arcstrider (Way of the warrior) Combat flow- Melee kills recharge your dodge ability. Only to just dodge and get your ohk back. So you can pretty much always have your choice ohk all the damn time. Deadly Reach- dodging increases your melee range wow even further ohk potential (Way of the wind) Focused Breathing- Sprinting increases your dodge ability cooldown. Pair it with frostees awesome. Same effect times2 but also grants energy to melee and grenade as well. So you could be looking at a solid 3 seconds cooldown. (Way of the current) Tempest strike- hits further then synteceps. Pair it with Stompess for even further kill potential. (Way of the sharpshooter) Knife juggler- precession knife kills immediately recharge your melee ability. Let’s stop pretending it’s hard to get a precession kill.

We don’t need our knives to ohk. They didn’t need to in D1, and they were perfectly fine then. What they need now is a bit more accuracy and maybe a slight damage boost, but not enough to ohk.
-
I think just making the knife faster and enough damage to take off their shield would be good
-
2 RepliesMake it OHK but take off aim assist.

2 RepliesThis Hunter main will always disagree. Its a ranged melee that has no set up required like with shoulder charge. Stop whining, they're already pretty easy to use as is. Get someone low and as you leave the engagement throw a knife, boom. You dont stick around longer than necessary and get the kill. They're good primers too. Part of the whole spiel of the throwing knife anyways is for it to be the ace up your sleeve. "oh no Im gonna lose, sike." Cant tell you how many times thats happened
-
4 RepliesIt almost never happens because nobody even uses precision Goldie to begin with. One hit throwing knives would be hell. Also stop with the "one shot melee" argument. We're in a shotgun meta. If you're getting shoulder charged too much, just equip a shotty or a fusion. 9 times out of 10 you'll be better off just blasting with a shotty instead of a shoulder charge. Credit where it's due, it's remarkably annoying, but it's nothing actually good.

12 RepliesAs a hunter main, I disagree. Golden Gun is by far my most used super and a majority of the time, I use bottom tree and top tree a lot (I’m not too big of a fan for middle tree). The knife damage is perfectly fine in both PvE and PvP. If anything it’s balanced. Back in D1, throwing knives had aim bot and headshots would just kill people from any range. That worked with how the pace of D1 was but with D2, that would be horrendous. Using shoulder charge to justify giving the other classes one shot melees as well is a very bad argument as well. There’d be no reason to do it seeing as hunters dominate the crucible a majority of the time anyway and have a very strong neutral game along with the best jump for PvP. Despite all this, I would like to be rewarded more for landing headshots and this reward doesn’t have to be another melee charge or damage buff. It could easily be something small like reloading your currently equipped weapon or giving you dodge energy and I’d be completely happy with it. Will Bungie do that? Probably not but even if they don’t, I’m satisfied with the ability enough now that it doesn’t matter.

Agree!!

Throw buffing knife. Like a tether but you tether allies to buff them with each buffing knife
-
Ohko knife should not be a thing. Sent from a hunter main
-
Just give it a damage increase. As a hunter main, I do think a ranged ohko that we cab recharge really fast would be too much. Like a headshot do like 170. You shoulf be rewarded for using something that requires aiming, as opposed to SC and Supernova.
-
How about we fix warlock melee, before giving hunters even more buffs they don't need.
-
Edited by Ghostfire239: 8/26/2019 9:33:05 PMIt shouldn’t ohk, but a damage buff to D1 pre-nerf level would be nice.

11 RepliesHunters do have a OHK melee ability...
Liars handshake
no i dont think it should be a ohk, but i do think it needs to do more than it currently does.
