I FINALLY GOT MY HOPSCOTCH PILGRIM!!! <3 (a bit late, eh?)
Show me some luv guys! RNG finally hit me.
I farmed this beauty like 6-7 weeks straight when it came out!
I spent so many hours in the Roch Playlist of the Strikes. I came online,. farmed strikes, i speedrun them like stupid. 12 hours at least per day! Then i got tired of it and all my friends were telling me to stop... and now, like almost a year after HoW i got it!
My Hopscotch Pilgrim.
Wish i could have used this beauty in Trials at least once.

I'm not saying that the loot-system is broken. But think about it :b
Edit: I also got depressed. Because of this. Spending hours of gametime in strikes getting nothing. Seeing my friends dropping it when they helped me in the first strike or some AFK douchbags drop it... (like 50 times at least lol)
Edit 2: Yeah i know it was stronger back then and i will sadly never use it in its full-pride, but its precision in PvP is overwhelming. Forget about Nirwens Mercy. Prilgrim is my way to go! :D
It had High-Impact on a Mid-Fire Rate. So it was considered 'broken'. But there were A LOT of strike-drop weapons with messed up stats. These weapons were amazing back in the day

10 RepliesIt [b][i][u]WAS[/u][/i][/b] beast but now it's alright, still good but not as great. Mine has reactive reload, braced frame, feeding frenzy. If you get reactive reload to proc you do 38 to the head so you can effectively two burst like messenger but faster! On my titan if you want to look at it. Grind for a High Road Soldier. It's a scout rifle in the mida archetype which can roll with full auto, braced frame/handlaid stock, zen moment/hidden hand. Mine is on my warlock. It's way better than hopscotch imo. 4 shot headshot, super stable, and kills fast than hung jury type scouts. Also try for loner rebel as well. It's the handcannon and it can roll with counterbalance, braced frame, and zen moment. That's pretty hilarious but the roll I put on mine is icarus (super underrated btw), rifled barrel, hidden hand. It's on my hunter. I am seriously in love with this gun and highly recommend it.

I never got the whole hopscotch craze. I had one, and its was good but i didnt think it was any better then the messenger. The gun was good but people back then over hyped it just cuz you had to grind a bunch of strikes to get it. It was the exclusivity

I remember when it first came to light that it was a good gun and I decided to grind for it. I got it the second strike I played. My friends were so mad because I had great luck with rng.

2 RepliesCongratulations dude! I had a good time the other day rerolling mine. Reforging used to be expensive as shit considering you couldn't buy weapon parts and motes were way harder to come by. I settled for a roll with rodeo and hand-laid stock and it was great. Got inspired by grasp farming last week to go for a better roll on the hopscotch and now I have one with rangefinder, braced frame and spray and play. Still a beauty

It's still my go to crucible weapon. When the taken king came out I searched high and low for a replacement, any pulse with 0 horizontal recoil would be awesome. However, none exist these days, and bungie wonders why counter balance is popular now... Don't even get me started on how awesome it was before the archetype change.

ah i use to love that gun, still have it in my vault! on top of it being reforge ready, it was indeed a powerful pulse rifle!
