Atheon after patch
So has anyone beat atheon after the patch? I have its actually easier than you think you just need to have a very good team that Co operates with each other I'm actually on my way to getting to level 30 so get to grinding guys and start doing VOG. Let me know if anyone needs help I'm alway down to join.

We got it down pretty easily, but the relic kept glitching where there would be a delay on the shield deployment

5 RepliesHaving a good team is not enough now. You have to be lucky. We rolled on the raid (hard) yesterday until we got to atheon. Shield worked half the time, mobs health regen when you kill them, only 2 people get teleported... Good work Bungie !

Like you said, with teamwork, he's beatable. Not even that hard. Just dont get cocky, attack your role with determination and communicate.

It's not bad at all. You'll wipe a few times if you have people who never ran shield, but it really wasn't bad at all. This week we beat it with 2 people that have never beat the raid before.

3 Repliesdid you know right before atheon random teleports som1 the 3 person who jumps to the edge will be teleported. its an easy way to get to know who gets teleported.

2 RepliesFinding it super buggy after patch. Pretorians regain health, teleport to portal with restrictive bubble, no oracle spawn the all spawn at the same time when the last one should spawn, tons of splash damage killing people who are protected by relic bubble.

The same day the patch came out, took us 25 min at atheon fight, great teamwork :)

1 Replymy lv30 team beat him in the first teleport, super easy, i did it both legit and exploit before, i prefer the legit way cus its fun

Done it a few times post patch to varying degrees of success. Best one took about 4 tries in 15 minutes. Worst was 40 minutes of glitch related failure and I just left after a while.

I beat him yesterday legit... We had four 30s and two 29s... Took us two or three teleports. I got my hunter helmet and time breaker ;)

2 Replieson normal, piece of cake. on hard. to many bugs to deal with. almost impossable to get 3-4 teleports where you dont run into a wipe inducing bug.

3 RepliesKilled Atheon with only two portal phases. Legit relic runner with plenty of times vengeance :) it's just as easy as it was pre-knock off method imo. Only difference is the random teleport but if you're doing the raid on hard it's essential to know the relic.

We actually completed the raid faster then most have my raids on normal went because the people weren't idiots. On normal I'll tell people how to use the relic and to shoot the oracles outside of the portal and the first half a dozen tries is someone saying "idk what to do with the relic" and the team failing to kill the oracles. So from now on if I'm matched with idiots I'll leave mid game cause I don't have time for people who don't listen. EDIT: When we killed Atheon on hard it took us max 3 teleports to finish him.

Done it on Hard about 5 times, relatively easy once everyone is comfortable with taking a more versatile role. Sometimes you get few issues such as Praetorian health regen on Venus, or only 1 person gets teleported. On one of our runs, we managed Atheon Hard on first attempt, most will take 2-3 attempts.
