Here's three that I think people don't appreciate enough, but what are some of your favorite?
Invisible hunter builds:
Being able to spam Invisible with exotics like graviton forfeit, 6th coyote, or omnioculus is super strong in GMs, Dungeons, and Raids. I can't tell you how many times I've saved runs by spamming invisible for 15-30 seconds at a time. With Graviton, it's even possible to spam indefinitely so long as your strength is 70+ and mobility is 40+. You just alternate trapper ambush and shade step, which comes in handy for capturing plates.
Moth Keeper builds:
With the right arc fragments, your grenades both jolt and blind while generating ionic traces. This means in GMs, you can stun 2 types of champions with a grenade. Plus the exotic has a hidden grenade recharge modifier reducing cooldowns by 7-9 seconds. Not to mention you can give overshields at will and save teammates.
Unbreakable Ursa Furiosa Builds:
It was better before this season, but being able to grab enemy agro, generate orbs of power, while basically becoming invincible, is pretty strong. Using this build, I've saved lots of runs by being able to res teammate in tough spots or create an opening for them to clear ads or do dps to a miniboss.
Despite how useful these builds are, I've been kicked from numerous fireteam for not running the "meta" flavor of the month build.

Ashen wakes and Cadmus, people don't seem to enjoy these.
