Seriously, take all the time that you need, we can wait, but for the love of God stop releasing buggy messes. How do you release a patch that randomly crashes the game every 20 minutes, and also inventory UI takes over 2 minutes to load (not exaggerating, I actually timed it), not to mention the dungeon not being lootable on release. I thought we had been through this with Trials, but clearly Bungie has not learned the lesson.

2 RepliesEdited by JazzyPaladin477: 12/18/2021 11:12:55 PMMember when games couldn’t be patched and a had to be finished before they shipped?

10 Replies"Development is hard". ;) thats a quote from a game studio...thats its only job. Im going to tell my patients. "Doctoring is hard".

Agreed. I'm on Xbox. The Free to Play DoE either crashes or randomly disconnects me about 30% of the time when I hit the Boss. Also, in the first phases, 2 times we've gotten the Hive where one has to kill the knight, then shoot the crystals and the last crystal will not take damage (it turns greenish and then phases in and out), so you go back to orbit and start again. On top of the above, their are these weird lag spikes and the continual pauses when I'm in my menus trying to change something. I was pretty sure that Bungle would Half--blam!- the new DLC, so for the first time in 7 years, I never ordered it, even after it shipped. I am so glad I did not pay a Dime for this unsupported trash. And if your PO'd with this crap and have pr-ordered any other Destiny DLC, the best thing you can do to show your unhappy is cancel any pre-orders. That' the only thing that Bungle cares about.
-
Was gonna write up a huge comment about people being stupid and companies being smarter to exploit the stupid people. But I don't care about Destiny enough anymore.
-
are you new to gaming??? this is the standard in the gaming industry today 🤣🤣🤣🤣

63 RepliesI'll say it as I've been saying for pretty much all of Destiny 2. Minimal effort - Maximum Profit. That's the Bungie model and until more people get out the cult and stop supporting it they won't stop the model.

Stop releasing content half-baked
The problem isn't the devs doing their work, it's upper management as it has always been. I can only imagine how many times things have been scrapped, changed, stripped out to be sold later, pushed out the door, etc... with this company. Poor leadership leads to poor development... It's simple logic really.
-
Because they’re cheap. They don’t want to put in the time and cost for an actual QA team to properly test out every activity, every piece of armor and weapon, everything else the game has to offer in every patch. Which I unfortunately understand, they are a for profit company and a majority of the team is always working on the next big dlc at any given time.

2 RepliesYeah ever since the anniversary the inventory UI has been terrible. I’m assuming this is just for people like me who have the old consoles. Still haven’t upgraded yet.

Edited by DarkMoonWolf666: 12/19/2021 3:31:35 PM2 minutes? I'm on ps4 and its maybe around 20 second Also you seem to not understand how this work Its not the update itself that is half baked Something is interfering with something else that are causing the issues To put it simply its like when you type on WORD(do kid even knows what this is anymore?) And you delete 1 word and all your text get shifted and everything look like a mad man writting
-
Omg...you must be a new player. It is in the best state it has ever been. Yes cross play causes lag, yes the UI is suddenly slow. At least we dont have to wait an entire year or more for a balance patch. The content of the 30th anniversary has been far better then past seasons. I expect things to get better.

11 RepliesThey built their own game engine and sometimes changing one thing breaks 15 other things they can't test everything.

And these guys sell cookbooks?... 😂😂😂 (Half-baked!) 😂😂😂

Half-baked?... I'm not surprised. They probably used Jutonn, the 1 dollar toaster to bake. 😂😂😂 It seems like they can't get anything right. Even Telesto is overcooked! 😂😂😂

4 RepliesIt’s Seattle. They were probably half-baked when they wrote the code and fully baked when they forgot to test it

1 ReplyEdited by Turt: 12/18/2021 10:48:52 PMits true, the three issues are obviously deal breaking to the hundreds of changes and fixes made in the 30th patch. Honestly just take it all back since those issues are so deal breaking. no more dares or ability changes for you! I’ll just take that matador you got as well since you hate the content so much.

3 RepliesI hear the Christmas content is fully baked. You even get an oven.
