NERF THIS NERF THAT.
Nothing has changed since the split up. I don’t blame Activision for abandoning this dead franchise

Entire community: We want shotguns and one eyed nerfed! Bungie: *nerfs* Entire Community: They never listen, this game is dying.
-
Literally what is so -blam!-ing back about this change. Because it’s going to give options other than Threat Level and Ikelos shotgun for secondary. If aggressive frames offer better DPS then I say it’ll be fun. Calm down. If you’re only in the game to melt every enemy as fast as possible by limiting yourself to a select couple of weapons are you really having fun?
-
1 ReplyYou mean Bungie’s responding to us about shotguns being annoying and One eyed mask being OP? God, what assholes. You’ll be pissed no matter what they do.
-
Yep, Activision are smart and bungie are allergic to money.
-
Ya think?
-
2 RepliesLol if you can't see the reasons that shotguns needed nerfing or one eyed mask then you are the problem.
-
50 RepliesCommunity: we want shotguns and OEM nerfed! Bungie: *fixes those things while not destroying them* Community: Stop nerfing things! Me: 😐
-
2 RepliesActivision saw the ship sinking and they politely walked off.
-
Bungie has always had creative oversight bro, if you thought any different...
-
Bungie is completely out of touch with the player base. They are listening to a very select few and its killing the game, just like catering to the ultra casual. Sucks
-
Edited by One Shot Ted: 2/23/2019 10:25:22 PMWe knew the nerfs were on Bungie. We said the lack of content was because of Activision's strict contract when it comes to DLC releases.
-
2 RepliesThey haven’t split
-
5 RepliesI'm just happy oem is getting the nerf it deserves
-
Lol you guys just figured it out.
-
Why are people surprised they are still nerfing things? They’ve been destroying guns in the sandbox since D1 Y1 lol
-
5 RepliesEdited by coreoYEAH: 2/23/2019 12:29:10 PMThey literally did what 90% of people on the forums wanted. OEM needed adjusting, it’s still going to dominate but will need to be more tactful. And as for shotguns, at this point all pve content can be done with a sidearm and grenades so you’ll be fine. And did you read the TWAB? Shotgun damage is essentially being doubled except for acrius and rapid fires are being brought down a little bit in RPM so as to not break the game.... What’s the problem?
-
Community: BUFF EVERYTHING. Sorry that’s not how games work, lol
-
If anyone actually thought activision was the one nerfing and making bad decisions... lol so dumb.
-
7 RepliesNo it doesnt, stfu. D2 is what it is.
-
So we’ve blamed activision & realised it’s Bungie instead!! Or does the real problem really belong at the door of the playing community who complain constantly about this & that & are never happy with what they have!!?
-
2 RepliesYou realize that the split doesn’t take affect until the last content drop of the annual pass. All they did was put an end point on the contract
-
1 ReplyOf course Bungie has always 'been the problem'. Bungie always had the creative control as well as control of game management. Why do you think Activision dropped them? They knew a lost cause when they saw it. This franchise will just fade in to obscurity, gone with a whimper and not a bang.
-
7 RepliesActivision never had anything to do with balance patches lol. You do realise Activision is a PUBLISHING company yeah???
-
1 ReplyEdited by Jericho_Wolf99: 2/23/2019 9:22:13 AMWait holy shit hold the phone. So I was right saying Activision was just a financial backer and every descion that has been made was all bungies fault. So your saying I'm right. I must be dead because someone actually figured it out finally.
-
Bungie = Buy Poptarts. Activision = Buy Monster.
-
Under no circumstances has Activision ever had anything to do with balance patches. Nor has that claim ever been made As I've said before. Don't expect to see any real changes until late this year or next year
