Luna’s howl is ruining PvP
And I don’t wanna hear any crutch users sayin, “it’s fine, u just suck,” or, “adapt”, or, “git gud,” all that stupid shit. It’s broken and unbalanced and almost near impossible to counter. PvP is a mess now with that thing around, it needs to be tweaked

Edited by Sneaky Athletic: 12/3/2018 12:53:22 AMAs an avid user of Luna's Howl I can tell you that it is by no mean's broken or unbeatable, hell I'd even say that its not worth using some of the time especially on PC. Here's a small list of fairly reliable counters; Ace of Spades, Bygones, Right Side of Wrong, basically any decent Pulse really, Tube nade launchers, and many more. Luna's is strong no doubt but its by no means always viable, if I see a full team of pulses or Ace I'll usually just switch because chances are I'm gonna get flinched out of my three tap like 6/10 times. The key really is to out-range it because Luna's has some piss poor hit registration outside its pretty small range and anyone who has used the gun for an extended period of time knows that compared to Ace it feels like your shooting raisins at anything past mid range.

Hear me out: The purpose of a PINNACLE WEAPON is to have a tangible reward to show for a player's time spent in Competitive. Imagine you actually did it and the weapon -blam!-ing SUCKS, then you feel cheated because you wasted -blam!-ing hours to get it. So what the -blam!- is so overpowered about it? It is a PINNACLE CRUCIBLE REWARD. Also, it's -blam!-ing childish to come here and literally ATTACK people because you suck at a video game. It isn't our fault you can't get the weapon and aren't good enough to play without it

7 RepliesHonestly, it’s annoying but they can get flintched easily and also have bad range. I use a 4 burst pulse rifle and a high impact scout. Not a not forgotten, a primary kinetic one, but I forgot what their called. I either flinch them or simply out range them. [spoiler]My friends are sweaty tryhards who enjoy destroying me in private matches. They complain about range and flintch constantly. And I was a also a sweaty tryhard too, but I took a 4 month break from the game and have like 70% of my skill back but I have no truely meta weapons and it’s annoying how d2 is mainly outgunning people compared to how d1 was more of outplaying people[/spoiler]

3 RepliesI have Luna and I completely agree with you. It has made all other hand cannon useless. They should have made it a 150 hand cannon. While I will say it does require some skill for it to still 3 tap, it’s a little to easy. It’s not just the Luna, they have a big problem with the weapon balance in this system.

6 RepliesI'll agree with you, Lunas are everywhere but have you tried countering with Trust and explosive rounds? The flinch prevents them from getting those all to needed crispy headshots. Pair that with a Militias Birthright with concussion grenades and you'll get the drop on them most of the time. Team shot...yeah different story and I'm an average player at best. I'd love to own lunas but I never will I'm not good enough and I dont want to be carried as it's not right

1 ReplyI got Luna’s howl a few days ago. It’s not this op weapon everyone makes it out to be. It’s range is worse than bygones which makes bygones with good rolls the better choice for a primary unless you’re running a sniper
