Bring back torrent!
Seriously why was this removed? Everyone enjoyed it. Bring it back now, please.
Yeah it made things easy but it was fun. Maybe pair it with the blackout or glass modifier everyone hates.

1 Replylook this up if you do not believe this. Bungie has had Destiny as a whole on the back burner and out sourced the last dlc. And it shows. D2 has been failuer and a insult to the player base. Know bungie is making a new game that has nothing to with the half assed destiny game. Now we can see why Destiny has no content and a huge mess of a story. With the connection to the china company way more Grredboxes and microtransaction are going to be the center piece as this is exactly what bungie has done with D2. Do Not Buy any DLC or anything ever again as bungie has shown Destiny is at best an after thought to them. Destiny has been guessed by players, Youtubers, and Streamers to be dead and Dying. Well now we know that bungie has no intention to make Destiny any better ever. Its over and done. A failuer from start to end. Check Google/Kotaku.com for yourself.

A challenge is nice and all, but it would be swell if we had more instances of “fun” activities like positive modifiers such as Torrent. Sadly, I feel as though Bungie is constantly taking another step back to subtract from what the majority of the community may actually like or consider fun.

The only times i had fun doing the nightfalls in Destiny 2 was when torrent was active and now you say its gone?!

I don't care if it would have no rewards, no reputation bonus for completion, etc. Let us pick a strike or story mission, activate whatever modifiers we want, and have at it.

100% on board with this. It should be during a special event, like Faction Rally week, and be ubiquitous on strikes, Heroic, Nightfall, and otherwise.

Nah, they wont. The Weapons get more powerful but to compensate, the Strike Buffs get dumbed down. I'm with you though. I'd love to see it back in the game.

Bring back torrent and burn jesus fking christ. Fk singe. TF??? What beta thought of this??? Bring back BURN. Interestingly enough, the Heroic Adventure for the 2/5 Nascent Dawn quest had modifiers on it when i did it. And i swear to god. It didnt say it exactly and i forgot what the name of it actually was. But my grenades recharged back like it was Torrent. It was fun as sht. Then i was depressed. Because it was a one time thing..

1 ReplyTotally agree. We should have more fun modifiers on those cards rather than just serious ones to choose from. That's the sort of focus that D2 lacks, is the focus on fun. It seems most of the decisions to date are there for serious gamers. It's all about the rewards and the challenge these days. Whatever happened to the fun?

actually was a bloody fun modifier but they removed it. again things that make the game fun, better remove that. but ignore all the feedback the community gives you on things they dislike.
