After booting up Destiny 2 this morning and getting through to the Homecoming Mission, at the point where Cabal are supposed to come through the wall they just don't spawn meaning I can't progress through to the next part of the mission (no enemies spawn at all and I can't open the door to see Cayde). This also happened in the PC Beta.
I am in the United Arab Emirates with DU as my ISP.
Any one else have this problem and found a work around? I'm on a 5Ghz WiFi connection.

Edited by Taner: 7/30/2018 7:46:09 PMHi everyone, I have the same problem with Destiny 2 in UAE. I live in a hotel and our ISP is DU. For example, in the starting mission enemies spawn at the beginning but then at some point it just stops working and there are no enemies at all. Ist this issue solved by DU or not? I can find only posts from September 2017. Please need help. The network team at my place confirmed that they are not blocking any ports, but somehow I have still the problem of not spawning enemies....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

3 RepliesEdited by Jd Odyssey: 9/7/2017 7:49:34 AMUPDATE: Apparently DU are saying that they have managed to fix the problem. Someone else spoke with them and I missed a call from them so they are definitely trying to reach out. I have a friend trying to log in and test it but if anyone is at home please try and update here! EDIT: As PSN is currently down can anyone check on XBOX?

1 ReplyI played more than an hour on xbox and things look ok so far... with few minor lag which is normal, experience was good... Did 1 hour patrol and everything was normal. NPCs and enemies were showing properly and no teleporting... I will do some story missions to check further but seems they fixed it! Thanks everyone for being proactive on this

Hi all, I have raised this issue on the official Destiny 2 reddit pages, informing people in UAE not to buy Destiny 2 until it is resolved. 1 ReplyStill no word from Bungie regarding this? The whole UAE is waiting...

1 ReplyFellow dxb guardians! I may have found a fix, tho not sure if its legal/allowed at all and if this will be a permanent fix, but its worth a try as it worked for me.. might sound complicated but for people who does port forwarding it can be simple.. it involves putting a static ip on your console, primary and secondary dns, and lastly enabling DMZ on your router and putting your static ip there.. hope this will help and give us a temporary fix til bungie sorts out our issue with du..

1 ReplyJust needed to mention that: ETISALAT users are unaffected with this problem
-
1 ReplyI did the upnp forwarding and Port forwarding and they worked. i faced same issue before. beginning was ok so far

This issue still valid and UAE players with DU as ISP can't play Destiny 2 properly. Bump
-
2 RepliesSomeone under another help topic confirmed that its port 80 blocked by DU but sounds a general port. We need to check if same port not blocked by Etisalat so we can have a conversation over known facts instead of talking to agents who have no clue

Same problem happening to me. It's sad that I pre-ordered it and can't even play. I've been a player since the Destiny 1 beta. It hurts not being able to play the game I love. I also live in Dubai and use DU services.

Hey guys, I've been on the phone with DU for the last hour trying to fix this and without Bungie's input it just isn't possible. I've given them all the port forwarding info but without IP address details nothing can be solved. Keep bumping this thread as this is what we need - https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/230509389?sort=0&page=0

Bump for bungie to see

bump Why we don't get a response bungie??? most of topics under help section gets a response from BNGHelp or forum mentors... Why you ignore this topic? seriously

2 RepliesThis is ridiculous. My family have bought 1 digital and 3 physical copies of Destiny 2 and we cannot even play because DU ISP in UAE has blocked Destiny 2's ports by mistake. And Bungie is not trying to resolve this with them. There is another ISP in UAE called Etisalat and they have no issues. Bungie, please respond to this and please get in contact with DU Internet Service Provided in the United Arab Emirates. The issues we are all encountering are as follows: - Enemies don't spawn/appear 90% of the time - If enemies do spawn, then teleport and don't engage. If we kill them, they instantly come alive again and return to original position - Quest givers and NPCs do not spawn or appear either - We cannot see adventures and cannot interact with items - We cannot see any public events, however, we can revive people who die. - We are invincible (enemies can't see us either) - Only PvP works, as no NPCs or enemy AI are present - We can't pass through certain areas as they are sealed off (but not to others in fireteam who aren't with DU ISP) such as the doors on Titan planets first mission. PLEASE BUNGIE, contact DU ISP and resolve this. DU need your server details and the ports to open to let those in the UAE play your game...we did pay for it after all.
