For the puppies!!??
So are we getting some sort of tribute to the lost puppies? Like maybe an exotic that says "R.I.P. Puppies" or "For The Puppies" u get the idea
I need a way to commemorate the puppies lost by gary
Ok i get the overwhelming majority is the unpopular opinion and that you shouldnt get hate for saying "if you like this you are unintelligent and a child and im blocking you" pardon me for having a different sense of humor ffs this community sometimes

i think everyone needs to chill out with this hating on 'for the puppies' trend it was obviously made that way to appeal to children which is totally fine imo you wouldn't start dissing the swing in the play area because it makes the whole park seem childish would you?

6 RepliesI really liked the trailer except for the whole puppy deal. It just doesn't match up with Destiny's tone. The tone is particularly dark in that we are always fighting, always winning and always losing. It's clearly a concept to entice the younger crowd and/or appeal to what is regarded as a large percentage of gamers who are into the whole puppy/kitten crowd. And of course, I am just sick of Cayde and the amount of focus on him. He used to contribute worthy dialogue similar to Shaxx and Ikora, but now every time he opens his mouth it's some ice breaker or cheesy line that comes off as sarcasm or plain old annoying. It's simply not funny, and as much hate I'm going to receive for having an opinion that's not the popular one, I know I'm not the only one thinking this based on what I've read in the forums.

I don't know nor care what this puppy thing is (assuming from the live action trailer) but I'm already tired of hearing about it. Somehow became overplayed immediately and some kind of forced meme, from Bungie, akin to the Wizard on the Moon (which was actually funny and organic).

I would like it if they took themselves more seriously. We Lost Our Home. That should matter to us and should have emotional impact. Look at the old and even newer Halo live action trailers. Those have emotions

The HappyWolfe cares nothing for the small mewling puppies they were weak and deserved to be crushed under Cabal boots. Alternately there is another use of the term "puppies" this is from the secret grimoire known as the age of DeGeneration X... The Happywolfe likes those puppies and is extremely angered that anyone would threaten those puppies. Long live the Puppies... Or at least Until the Ninja kill me!
