You seem overly worked up about something that doesn't matter. If a bunch of people leave, that's less servers Bungie needs to keep up. So long as they are able re-attract players during pay-up events (like "expansion" release), what difference does it make if people go play other stuff while Bungie finishes up the "new" content.

Yup. I've hit all three of my characters to 32. Have very exotic in the game. The only thing I do now is lvl up my other exotics for no reason. I've been playing dying light and haven't touched destiny in the past few days. So I'm slowly falling away from destiny hoping for new content to pull me back in.

If the business model of this game was monthly subscription players leaving on mass would be an issue. Unfortunately it is not so people leaving ultimately has no real impact. Sure if comet failes or other DLC does not sell then it will be an issue.

I'll be hanging around until HOW since I already paid for it, but if it winds up being the same thing as Dark Below with a vanilla 3 story missions and 1 strike, then I'm probably done. What's even worse is most of HOW content is on disc already even populated with enemies, so its not like they need more time to get the story missions done. The ball is in their court especially now that they pushed back the DLC. If HOW isn't amazing, they are going to lose a lot of players and I can pretty much say I will have no interest in Comet or anything that comes after.
