Have any 31 hunters solo'd hard lamps?
If you have, how do you deal with the ogre? Gally does nothing to him, and I can't seem to stagger him with IB...

For those clicking on this for the first time, the answer is:
1. Max out all stealth abilities available in the Bladedancer sub class.
2. Save your super for the end, and remember to swing (trigger button) a second time right before your super ends.
3. Avoid being seen by the ogre by remaining invisible, and LOS'ing him. Use the rocks nearby.
4. Patience & Time and Don't Touch Me help greatly with accomplishing this task, though they are not necessary. I was able to complete this without them.
There are more techniques. Read below on how others have accomplished solo'ing the abyss or lamps.

I have I don't kill the ogre. I just set my hunter to have vanish with ace blade and hide till the bridge is formed

Edited by Goldwing2512: 2/21/2015 4:21:28 PMI have but when I get to 32 plan on soloing as much of it as I can. First sit on the rock zoomed in on p&t then crouch still on rock then super and cloak then hop off rock then I basically just run around and alternate between blink strike and crouch.

Go onto rock by lamp, go invisible, run to the bridge and hide behind the right rock, (when facing bridge) until formed. They will not see you there, invisible or not.

Just hide. I use don't touch me and used to not have a raid helm so I'd always have to solo this at lvl 31. But just stay invisible.

yes save super to the end I used don't touch Me's my problem was that the Ogre always randomly dropped in front of me instead of behind the lamp so I stopped killing him lol

1 ReplySave your super for the end. When you use vanish, the enemies will go to the point you used vanish (If you're in their line of site). You can literally lead all the enemies around. Use your vanish again, just before the super ends, and they'll all go to that spot, and you can run away. The ogre will aim with the thrall.

Yup, just need MIDA and Don't Touch Me. Can basically sprint through the entire thing to the end. At the end just run circles around various rocks and use your invis cool downs to keep it up almost all the time. Do not try to kill the Ogre at 31 solo, just survive for like a minute then the bridge opens up and the weight lifts.

1 ReplyDid it twice today with each of my hunters on the first try. Ran through everything as a 31 while wearing dont touch me then once I got to the end put on my 32 gear to make taking the ogre out easier.

6 RepliesIce breaker to stagger the ogre. Blade dance subclass on with shadow jack escape artist and vanish. Usually in that order. P.s standing on the rock initially is a good idea.

7 Repliesmy boyfriend solo'd the lamps at 30 with invisibility perks without don't touch me, and my warlock is able to solo it thanks to the combustion upgrade of ice breaker :3

Did it on my 31 hunter and titan, just used 6 gjallarhorn rockets on ogre.
