If you have, how do you deal with the ogre? Gally does nothing to him, and I can't seem to stagger him with IB...
EDIT: Thank you all for the responses. Good stuff. I was able to complete it yesterday with your advice. Kudos!
For those clicking on this for the first time, the answer is:
1. Max out all stealth abilities available in the Bladedancer sub class.
2. Save your super for the end, and remember to swing (trigger button) a second time right before your super ends.
3. Avoid being seen by the ogre by remaining invisible, and LOS'ing him. Use the rocks nearby.
4. Patience & Time and Don't Touch Me help greatly with accomplishing this task, though they are not necessary. I was able to complete this without them.
There are more techniques. Read below on how others have accomplished solo'ing the abyss or lamps.
edit: Wow, over 1,000 replies. Oddly, in the first couple of replies, I found my answer. But, somehow this has stayed alive all month. LOL

I can solo it without needing super for the end and without dealing with ogre. Message me on 360 if you wanna see how.

Edited by mjeckhart: 2/28/2015 6:23:40 PMAlso to cheese the lamps. Blade dancer max agility with blink jump. Get on the rock by the second lamp and get your weight down to zero. Make sure you're aiming at about the middle of the wall and initiate your super. Run and blink jump then start swinging away And you should be able to get to top of the wall. Follow edge of the wall going left and around to a lamp with a knight. Kill knight first and use lamp to get wieght down. From this lamp you can jump up to see a lamp slightly of to the left. There are two pits heading to this lamp. At this lamp you should be able to sees the bridge, the rest is history.

3 RepliesPeople way over-complicate the ogre. Let the last lantern explode and then jump on the rock next to it. When all the thrall and the ogre come out they'll stare at the Rock. Crouch to go invis and run behind the Rock next to the bridge. All the thrall will keep staring at where you used to be and completely ignore you there. Ogre won't even know what all the fuss is about.

I got to the bridge then the ogre sniped me. Icebreaker doesn't stun ogres at all in hard crota. Basically, make sure you have your super, your invis melee, extended invisibility effects, don't touch me exotic gauntlets, and the patience and time sniper rifle. All of this should make this a bit easier on you. Hope this helps! :)

How bout not soloing it?
-
Joined a team of all 32's and I'm the only 31. Ended up soloing it.
-
Do it each week multiple times for myself and friends. And with titan...haven't tried lock
-
2 RepliesI did on my hunter but I went invis and stayed invis till the bridge built
-
2 RepliesI have. I don't have the raid helm on my Hunter and wore Don't Touch Me run with MIDA all the way through to the end. Circle the last lamp to crowd the thrall around it. Go invis sneak to the rock by the bridge, wait until the lamp explodes killing all the thrall. Duck to go invis step on the plate, jump up on the rock next to the lamp. Wait for ogre, go invis, run back to rock by bridge pad duck and stay invis. When bridge is built run across.

Yeah easy as with dont touch me ive done it on hard as well but i cant always nail that one first go every time
-
I have u just gotta hide
-
-
You either kill the ogre or hide like a punk, which I do lol. Cloak is your friend, also set your super up for the cloak ability.
-
You can do it as a level 20. Just chain invisibility.

Right here. You don't fight the ogre lol at least if you don't have a maxed hunger/gally and a black hammer/icebreaker and they're fully loaded. I save my blade dance for at the end most of the time it works out.
-
DPS as much as you can try high caliber rounds for staggering to soak up as much time as you can for the bridge being built.. As a hunter when you can't do much more pop your super with the vanish perk go invis hop off the rock wait behind the right pillar of the bridge if your timing was right it will be built for a quick blink strike with invis after super and get away

Edited by So1o: 2/27/2015 5:05:19 PMI was able to solo the lamp section on hard as a 31 by using bladedancer subclass with maxed out agility, don't touch me gauntlets, and mida multi tool. I didn't deal with the ogre. I hid behind the right rock (if you're facing the bridge). I suggest saving your super till it's absolutely necessary. Edit: I jumped on top of the right rock and dropped down behind it when the ogre came out.

Yes it's just as easy
-
I have soloed it as a 31 Titan, but I used the ldr5001 so I took the oger out when he was behind the rock
-
Did it with lvl 30 hunter... Just go invisible
