Destiny Boycott Starts!
Aisha Tyler is boycotting destiny as are several hundreds and thousands of other gamers out there. We refuse to purchase any further DLC if it does not consist materials that are not ALREADY in this game. The community on destiny seems to be growing smaller and smaller by the week as a majority of the players are becoming restless and impatient with along as intolerant to the way we are being treated. It is a good game, but the content that is being released in these new DLC's ......... we should NOT have to pay for as it is content that is being reused that is already in the game. I am happy to purchase an expansion or DLC so long as it is not something I already payed for. Crota is just a giant Knight, his weapons are only as good as what I already have. Not to mentipon what is the point in raising the strength in levels and weapons if the level sync is going to sync us to our enemies level? WTF are we paying for? All we are doing is giving away our money, if you want to play something like destiny but better go back to halo, do NOT support this garbage. I want my money back for HOUSE OF WOLVES and CROTAS END. These are areas that are already in the game! on the planets we already have. RELEASE SOMETHING FKING NEW! Do not give us chit we already payed for and make us pay for it again. The Boycott has started, gamers going on strike...... and this strike will give us the "exotic" we've been waiting for......... free DLC exotic. Unless these game producers have such an ego and want to be greedy and lazy. It is like having a contractor come to your home and saying he is going to do the job like this and it will look like this when he is done, then you pay him just from his samples and when he is done....... its good but its NOT what he said he would do and its NOT what he said it would look like therefore it is NOT what you payed for. Millions of gamers have purchased Destiny along with it's DLC " again which is content already in the game", that is atleast $100 per gamer $100 x 1 million.... and this is the short number I am quite sure it is larger...... $100 x 1 million......... omfg.......... we got scammed.

Lol. Her opinion is a little bias. Go look up the interview where she said that she would boycott destiny. When she was asked what games she is most looking forward to she said only the Division and Rainbow 6 siege. Both great looking games but both Ubisoft titles. Did you forget she does their e3 press conference every year?

Usually about thousands of people leaving the game in droves etc. They are just brilliant! This one was extra special as it has a name of an actual, person right off the bat, who seems to be the figure head of this revolt. Unfortunately I have never heard of this "Aisha Tyler" person as I am English so much of the impact of this super famous Destiny player was lost on me. :( However "Aisha" sounds like a girls name so that can't be right as girls don't play games and certainly have no valuable insight to share on them.

2 RepliesOh dear, seriously not another one of these pathetic, faux-intellectual opinion pieces from an uninformed, tin-foil hat wearing dullards!! If you cannot understand the developmental process, the imperatives for shipped pre-rendered however incomplete space that requires further input then please stop proffering opinions on subject matter you don't comprehend. Without including areas for development as basic renderings or as developed renderings with no play mechanics then map design and future development becomes much harde. There is also the issue of download requirements and the delay and server loads large file transfers at launch it can cause for DLC's. Add to that the chance of it "breaking" something not discovered in testing and providing pre-developed areas for later use makes sense. As someone that has worked with people that do this for a living, their general feeling on Destiny is this is standard industry practice. What Destiny did poorly was "wall off" the pre-expansion areas. Seriously, get over the conspiracy theory and enjoy the game. Or not and in that case, bye bye and thanks for coming.

I agree. We shouldn't be paying for disclockedcontent. It's a damn shame that they are selling us this garb. It's already in the game which means you already had the ideas for it. Don't give me the "it's not done yet" poo because I won't have it. You don't add areas to a game without a solid idea for it. It's like buying a house but not furnishing it because "it's not done yet". Every single area is already in the game. They knew darn well what was going into them they just took the mobs out and pulled the not done yet card. A major example is the terminus and kings watch. Fully built but blocked off, but both of them had ghosts already in them... Hmmmm...
