Destiny Boycott Starts!
Aisha Tyler is boycotting destiny as are several hundreds and thousands of other gamers out there. We refuse to purchase any further DLC if it does not consist materials that are not ALREADY in this game. The community on destiny seems to be growing smaller and smaller by the week as a majority of the players are becoming restless and impatient with along as intolerant to the way we are being treated. It is a good game, but the content that is being released in these new DLC's ......... we should NOT have to pay for as it is content that is being reused that is already in the game. I am happy to purchase an expansion or DLC so long as it is not something I already payed for. Crota is just a giant Knight, his weapons are only as good as what I already have. Not to mentipon what is the point in raising the strength in levels and weapons if the level sync is going to sync us to our enemies level? WTF are we paying for? All we are doing is giving away our money, if you want to play something like destiny but better go back to halo, do NOT support this garbage. I want my money back for HOUSE OF WOLVES and CROTAS END. These are areas that are already in the game! on the planets we already have. RELEASE SOMETHING FKING NEW! Do not give us chit we already payed for and make us pay for it again. The Boycott has started, gamers going on strike...... and this strike will give us the "exotic" we've been waiting for......... free DLC exotic. Unless these game producers have such an ego and want to be greedy and lazy. It is like having a contractor come to your home and saying he is going to do the job like this and it will look like this when he is done, then you pay him just from his samples and when he is done....... its good but its NOT what he said he would do and its NOT what he said it would look like therefore it is NOT what you payed for. Millions of gamers have purchased Destiny along with it's DLC " again which is content already in the game", that is atleast $100 per gamer $100 x 1 million.... and this is the short number I am quite sure it is larger...... $100 x 1 million......... omfg.......... we got scammed.

THis game is great and the DLC was awesome. I've never played a game as much as this one and that included Sky Rim. You need to get a life.

Boycotting a game already purchased is pointless. Activision already got 60+ bucks off everyone and that's all they want. They could care less if a thousand players don't buy new Dlc because there is the millions of people that have already bought it/will buy it and play it for a bit then wait till the next Dlc. It sucks and is kinda a crappy sales tactic but this isn't the fix.

Did Bungie put content on disc and lock it? You bet your ass. Why? It's called planning ahead. If you are a dev or a publisher with a slate of content coming for DLC, it is smart to put the framework for said content on disc. That's why people who glitched into Seraphim Vault saw incomplete content. The building blocks were there but the Vault wasn't complete. It's so much easier to patch existing content than push a massive update. As for your opening line, I hadn't heard about Ms. Lana Kane boycotting Destiny, so I went back through her Twitter timeline more than a month. You know what I found? Not one mention of a boycott. Not even one tweet about Destiny. Next time you cite something, make sure you have your datapoints linked. Otherwise old gamers like me who are fed up with petulant children will come down on you like the fist of angry god.

Is this a joke? Who is Alisha Tyler? Does anyone care? If you've played for more than 20 hours, you got your money's worth. If you don't like the direction the game is taking stop playing it.

18 RepliesTo those of you whom it may concern, I've been scrolling through this Forum for last few minutes now and I Gotta say I'm dissapointed...in those of you that say we're "complaining". Let me ask those of you something: did you get to do the raids, crucible, and Strike Playlist once you bought the game, or did you some time AFTER you got the game? Those of us that are "complaining" are doing so because we don't have the luxuries of this game like you do. I've been playing this game for the better half of a month and I'm not dissatisfied with the game itself, just that it doesn't give out equal opportunity to all of the players. In the said month I've had this happen to me 1. I've done Hours of Public Event grinding to get Vanguard Marks Ultimately taking up more time that I could've used to do something else in the game 2. I've been bored enough to want to do pvp But I can't because I can't do Crucible 3. I've wanted to get into a fire team but I can't because I can't get into a fireteam 4. Ive had quests that go to the normally locked areas of the game but I can't because I don't have Xbox Gold 5. (And this happened just a couple hours ago) I get an Exotic Bounty, hoping to god that I have the availability to do it, read the bounty details only to find out I have to do Strikes but I can't because I don't have Strike Playlist. 6. When Friday comes around (which is to say Xur comes to the tower) I literally spend almost 3 hours trying to get a Strange coins to get an Exotic but I ultimately end up wasting my time because I only get Ascendant Energies (which isn't all that bad but I hope you see my point) So to close up, I've had my ups and downs with this game, and unfortunately I can't do anything about that, at least not anytime soon. The game itself I don't have a problem with, before Destiny I sucked at FPS games now I at least have a good enough handle to be able to protect myself in Call of Duty. The problem with it is that it doesn't give equal opportunity to ALL of the players: so no were not saying "Gimme Gimme Gimme, or I'll stop playing" we're complaining like NORMAL PEOPLE about problems that we think should be fixed in this game. And if any of you actually read this all the way down to this point allow me to take the time to say "Thank You for reading the most extensive complaint I've ever had to make to a game (possibly)" this going to all of the players and any of you at Bungie that actually decided to read this post (one in a million shot but never give up hope, right?) In conclusion, Thank you again, please make the game fair, Were not whining we're normal people...thanks again.

Jesus, you let this game control your life. Boycott Destiny won't change a thing, not everyone thinks the same as you, they are not gonna change everything just because of you and a few hundred other peoples opinion are alike. Quit wasting your time.

No offense but a majority of gamers are spoiled.. No matter what a developers give us. We nag, complain, an want more!! Can't we all just be grateful that we have next gen and don't have to settle for crap games.. If your not satisfied just don't play the game, why ruin other gamers experience!! (If it don't apply, let it fly.. Just my opinion)
