Just Saw The Most Amazing Thing
I was on earth down where the 3 Hive spawn, and all of a sudden I encounter two brand new level 2 guardians. They were obviously New Christmas Guardians because they were exploring all over, awestruck by the awesome graphics and the detail in the darkened old subway tunnels. They were also enamored by my level 31 warlock (who has all level 32 gear) and kept pointing at me as if to say 'I want to be like you one day and one day I will get there'. At one point I just stood back and watched them explore down there. It was cute. It was like watching baby Gazelles running around playfully for the very first time in their lives. Welcome new Guardians. I hope you have just as much joy as I have had from this amazing game.

Yeah man that's a nice destiny moment right there. Let us show them the way : ) I love seeing the newbies and flashing the new raid gear, bless their little heads. It'll be quite some time still for them to get close to obtaining any of it... extra satisfaction.

I have had similar experiences in The Steppes and Mothyards. I got to save one from the level 18 hive in the tunnels in The Steppes. I don't know why but it just tickled me.

yep i ran into a young lv 9 warlock a G score of like 400 on the moon today speed up to him waved danced and showed him a gold chest and a dead ghost, then hopped on my tumbler and zoomed off as quickly as i came funtimes man

4 RepliesI was in the Divide, helping a level 4 killing his first sword of Crota. He didn't know what to do. I pointed at it, until he picked it up, he was just swirling around like a little Ballerina, not killing anything and I had to watch his back. But it was one of the most joyful things I have seen. This happy little guardian, dancing with grace, hacking and slashing the spin metal nodes. We stayed for a little longer, I showed him some chests and did even a public event together. It was wonderful watching him taking his first baby steps. I hope I will see him again when he has grown up to be a powerful guardian... Or a famous ballerina. :)

I encountered something like this, I got destiny for Christmas (or at least I bought it with my xmas money) and since I had played the demo beforehand I started off as lvl 7 on the moon. I was halfway through the first mission on the moon and a lvl 31 titan came along and started to follow me and stomping any enemy that was giving me problems, now ive done alot of strikes already on the demo so I know how to play destiny and probably could have handled these enemies with somewhat ease but this guy was just there giving me a helping hand, its people like these that give me hope that though destiny may not be the best game on the market it has an amazing community that I hope will make destiny a great environment to play in in the coming months and even years. So thankyou unnamed lvl 31 titan on xbox one for being there for a bambi like me :)

25 RepliesToday I was strafing around in partol on earth to test out the No Land Beyond. I found a level 4 titan with a grimoire under 200 at the forgotten shore, fighting against the enemies in the cave to the right (I think they are lvl7). I rushed to him with my timebreaker and kicked the shit out of the creeps within seconds. He waved and danced and followed me to the beacons. I knew which mission he was on and I took out every enemy for him. I got a message stating "Wow, great looking armor and heavy weapons you got there! I hope that one I'll be as good as you! Thanks for the help!" I cried a little inside...it felt like teaching my son the right things.

2 Repliessaw a level 3 warlock acting strangely. He was very slow at everything he did as if he didn't notice me. he was jumping and looking up slowly as i shot and waved to him. I tried to send him a friend request if he wanted help. I looked at his profile and realized he didn't have live. heh

1 ReplyI was waiting for you to say the hive spawned and caught them by surprise sending the lone survivor running for his life to the surface. That was how my first experience went in those tunnels that I now love to use for the exhausted hive bounty.
