I am still dumb founded or mis-informed... I heard the idea of Destiny came about 10 years ago and Activision said Destiny took $500 million to make. Um where is the 10 years and $500 million spent on this game???
It's fun... Just where is ... Seems so little... The the only thing that got any details was the Art work, board designs, and the gear.
No real story, no revolutionary features, no originality
It really is so like Halo without Master Chief. It's Halo with strikes and raids.
I do like it, not bashing it.. But why does it feel like it's missing so much?
How much did it take to make Skyrim? And how long?
How long did it take to make WOW (Vanilla)? How much??? (Adjust for inflation)
There are too many games to look at... Not to have chat options... LFG options.... Open World concepts....
This would have been the best game of the year... In 2000.

You're misinformed.. This is a 10 year ip wich they have a 500 mil budget for... The first game didn't cost 500 mil to make.. They expect ALL the games past and future to cost roughly around that including advertising..

How do you know they didn't? Did you research it? Do you know the exact dollar amount? Do you work at Bungie/Activision? I have seen the $500 million number thrown around since the release. They do break it down into marketing, infrastructure ( I know that may be a big word for you), an so on... But $500 million on this little content? You could search it yourself before you respond and continue to look like an asshole. I didn't mean to offend you favorite game, Lil Light.

And for the money, they spent it on banners to hang up in their Bungie offices (most likely use of money).

They hadn't even made Halo 3 at the time. They probably worked on it for 3-4 years.
