That will teach Activison that they are screwing with the wrong community. The reason they keep doing this is because of those damn 9 year olds COD games. If there is something new they will buy it.
We gotta put an end to this.Dont buy anything from those goddamn shitbags.
I'm not talking about Bungie since I know they aren't those type of people.
We refuse to be treated like SHITT
People will probably not read everything and just reply with a STFU.But It won't affect me.
Edit:The people who have the expansions, don't have to comment saying they have it.I am talking to those who don't have it and don't have t waste money buying content that was supposed to be in the game to begin with
Edit2:I love this game. The pvp is really good and the mechanics and everything.I am only saying that people shouldn't blindly do what they are told.
The DLCs could be really great and make up for it.But I want the content that was supposed to be in the game. They advertise and show of really good things about the game and when you get it you end up scanning something, defending the ghost.
All I'm saying is the story wasn't what we all were expecting. We thought Bungie would write an awesome story like they did with Halo. But apparently not
Edit3:I would've never expected that many to comment but since it happened,I wanna say thank you to all those people who understood what I was saying. To the other people who were gonna "buy" the DLC because I just gave them an advice,go ahead and enjoy it when it releases. This community has become shit since those cod players who don't expect much turned up here.Oh how I wish the good old halo 3 days were back when all Halo fans gathered here and helped each other. But I guess everything has an end.

3 RepliesThis dude actually has a huge point

2 RepliesEveryone lets rally behind this random guy on the forums! *turns and looks behind to find everyone buying it after bitching on forums.
-
Already bought it at a discount when I got the game like many others.
-
Too bad I've gotten the dlc for pre order
-
You realize if no money came from DLC Activision will stop supporting the game and any chance of it becoming greater will be as non existent as the Easter Bunny right?

12 RepliesEdited by skegs: 9/30/2014 6:02:53 PMWhy are there still kids like you that go on about this alleged "content that was SUPPOSED to be in the game." First off. How the -blam!- do you know what was SUPPOSED to be on the game. Who the -blam!- are you to accuse and assume out of such an ignorant knee jerk reaction? Take your pony parade else where. This is a place for the ones that enjoy the game, and for people to give constructive criticism. Not for -blam!-ers like you to tell us how to spend our money. Get the -blam!- off the forum if you're so butt hurt about your whopping $60 purchase and the extreme $30 dlc. We don't care that you ran out of tissues, so go cry somewhere else. I'm sorry I'm coming off strong, but these post are getting so old. I'm tired of these complaints turning this forum into sob fest.

So, don't support a game (that I love) because you don't agree/like the publisher... Yeah, no thanks. I will continue to support games that I enjoy to ensure that they stay fresh and fun. Stay on your high horse though!

He has a great point. But if no one buys the DLC Activision will pull the plug on Destiny and kick Bungie to the curb.

2 Repliesim gonna buy it. BAM! Now what?

7 RepliesThey ran into a bunch of crap approaching the release date. People are gonna buy the dlc. I knokw I am. I dont play a variety of games anyway(time). I simply believe in the whole 10 year thing. This whole thing reminds me of jcpenny. they scrapped sales and coupons and just marked everything down from jump. The idiot shoppers didn't like that. They like clipping the coupons and finding the "deals". They complained like idiots when the CEO was saving so much time and paper! So they went back to higher prices follewed buy markdowns sales and coupons. Whats going on with this game is it was never supposed to be complete on release. I watch the same ad crap everyone else watched and i did not get that the whole finished thing was supposed to come out on release. Most of the big games today are not complete upon release. I knew I was buying into step one! how everyone else missed it...iono. Sorry for the typos and such, this isn't an english essay or paid content anyway

8 RepliesI'd hate to see you deny yourself the pleasure of playing more of this game. I'm serious. You've played for almost 60 hours, and you love the game. It has cost you a dollar an hour to play it. Don't you want to support the continued release of new content? I respect your opinions as much as anyone, and I don't want to put you down for airing them. I just think we need to put this in perspective. This debate over DLC usually comes down to semantics. We still live with a mindset that the disc in the box should represent the "whole" game. But that model has changed. Bungie delivered enough game to make it worth the purchase value, I doubt anyone could argue they didn't. I love The Walking Dead. I paid a lot more per hour for season 1 on blu ray disc than I did for Destiny. I fully expect to pay for each successive season. I try to look at games like Destiny in the same way. As long as I'm not given a 10 hour campaign and they told I have to buy more DLC, I'm all for it. If Bungie is continually putting resources to the development of new content, it also means that they are actively supporting game as it is. The truth is, organized protests like aren't effective because people will always make buying decisions based on their own level of personal satisfaction with the product. If Bungie offers DLC and people have put a hundred or more hours into the game, they're probably going to lay down the coin for it. It's just human nature. If you aren't happy with the game at that point, by all means, vote with your wallet. That's how Bungie gauges their own success.

3 Repliesif we stop supporting destiny it will definitely suck. If this was activisions doing, they now realize the negative effect they had tying bungies hands. if it was bungie, they can pin point their mistakes and fix it. if they stop making money they will be forced to stop producing content.

3 RepliesToo late already got it in the Guardian digital edition

7 RepliesI'm now going to buy every piece of dlc just to spite you.

7 Replieshey kid... go play the vault of glass lvl 30 on solo until u beat it

1 ReplyEdited by jerkcore: 9/30/2014 5:43:15 PMI'm buying the dlc. Not to spite you, but only because I want to. I've put a lot of fun hours into this game, so the initial content has paid for itself in terms of hours of entertainment. Now I'd like to expand on that. My only gripe is having to wait 2 more months.

1 ReplyBought mine just now =P Destiny is awesome and gets my support till the end. You just don't understand how games are made, Everything you think that's being held back on disk...Truly isn't on the disk. Those are placeholders for items they have scheduled to be made, simple as that. If they kept stuff from us that was already purchased they would be sued to death.. just think about it.

I have no plans to buy it. I fully expect it to be skinny again. Though, if they come with a big story, i won't buy it on principle.
-
3 Replies-blam!- right off OP. Love this game. Will support this game. Don't like it? Blow me.
-
1 ReplyI purchased the Limited Edition so my expansion packs are already payed for. The first two at least. If we don't hear anything from Bungie about what's been said on Reddit and if the first two DLCs are weak sauce, then I won't be giving Destiny anymore of my time or money. It's a good game. But that's half the problem. It's good, not great.

too late

Tries to tell people not to buy something, then tells them not to blindly be told what to do... I love these forums
-
1 ReplyI'm still going to buy it, it's worth the price and I got my 60 bucks worth of content already and I have not done the vault of glass yet
-
2 Repliestoo late....when people pre ordered the collectors editions (which basically sold out everywhere) they included both DLC's..
