If you guys are able to get Destiny to run on the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 then how much will these version's of the game vary and or differ from their Xbox One/ Playstation 4 counterparts? Not just graphics, but everything. All the components. And how difficult was it to get these games to even work for the old consoles? Thank you :)

6 RepliesWill your character, guns, armor, etc. carry over from last gen consoles (ps3 and Xbox 360) to current gen consoles (ps4 and Xbox one)? I really want to play destiny as soon as possible but I can't get a ps4 or Xbox one until later, so I would like to have all my progress that I made with my Guardian to carry over.

ok this has nothing to do with the update, but does anyone know what the tag is for the references of destiny in halo page it had that the MC's cod piece was shaped like the symbol for destiny and shit cos I can't find it if anyone could help that would be great.

9 RepliesIn my opinion, the two best open world games I've ever played are Skyrim and GTA V. But, after several months of solid play immediately after launch, I stopped playing them very much at all, presumably burnt out. I'm worried this will happen with Destiny. Will you be doling out new content in whatever form (challenges, collectibles, customisables, missions, Strikes, etc.) at frequent intervals to keep people playing? Or is there more than enough content to go around from launch until the first Comet strikes (if the Comet DLC is still a thing)?

In the future will there be something like forge where you can create your own terrain or planet?

favorite addition from oblivion to skyrim was ability to sprint which made the gameplay a whole lot more interesting and also will the world be really dark and hard to see in like oblivion or relatively easy to see like skyrim (they had beacons and candles everywhere so I could see in dungeons)

1 ReplySo in Destiny when you run into another player will they be able to kill you or you will you be able to kill them or is there no friendly fire when you exploring; and if they can kill you or you kill them what happens do you get something for it?

It'd be awesome to play this with the VR headset and a new kind of top shot controller these controllers are made by activision so I'm just wondering if you'd do this kind of thing. It wouldn't be hard to get the ability to use this since this game's gonna be published by activision, to be compatible with the VR headset they should eliminate the LCD sensor and change it to one of those compass thingies that they have on the Wii U gamepad or maybe just integrate the sharpshooter.

1 ReplyDeej, I have a question for next week's mailsack. Will there be ambient life in Destiny? A world as large and expansive as Destiny's would feel empty without life of some sort. I don't mean enemies, like the Fallen or Cabal, I mean local fuana. Animals that survived the Fall, and populate the Wilds of Earth, and possibly even the other planets. Please answer.This concept fascinates me, and I would really appreciate even the smallest tidbit of information.Thanks!

2 RepliesI know you can travel through the stars and planets, but will weight and gravitational pull be a thing. If so would bullets be faster(because of the no air thing.) Is Destiny going to THAT in depth. Good job the whoever at activision was right, most anticipated game ever.

3 RepliesI recently switched providers for a tv deal, not my choice. Now the tv's in my house take up bandwidth. And there are a lot of people who watch tv at the same time. This worried me, I had never checked my internet speeds before because I had found that they were sufficient. However I checked them after the switch and my ping was around 75-85ms. Destiny being an online only game, im wondering how his will affect my experience? I know below 50ms is best for online gaming. So will i have that lag from what i do on my controller to the screen? Its important that is minimal in a first person shooter. I find them unplayable with any sort of controller delay. So is 80ms ping going to be fine, or should I get a better connection?
