Release date rumors
There is a reported rumor stemming from Bungie's Activision contract, wherein Destiny is coming to the XBOX first as an exclusive, and then it will be ported to the PS in 2014.
For those of us that will purchase their next-gen console somewhat based on Destiny, who will wait to purchase the PS4 and miss out on (potentially) months of Destiny gaming?
Personally I plan to play on my 360 and wait for the PS4...

1 ReplyThat's from an old contract which parts of it have already not come true. Also it said something along the lines of it coming to Xbox first if Microsoft wanted to make a deal. If that deal was made we wouldn't even know a playstation version was in the works. Don't worry whatever system (announced) you want it on will launch at the same time.

Uh... did your 'friend' who has a cousin that knows all about the contract because his uncle works for Activision tell you this? Because that is a completely baseless rumor and I'm tempted to believe it's one you just made up for this thread. :/

Especially since this will be the first time in quite a while that bingie brings a game to sony's platforms. I believe that it would be rather inconvenient for Bungie to realease destiny earlier on one platform and then port it because they only just started a relationship with the latter platform.
