I’ve been here since the beginning. Early in the D1 days. Man, who could forget ice breaker or the OG ghallerhorn!
As much as I like the final shape and would love to play it through, I just can’t tolerate the direction bungie has taken the game
Such as:
D2 seems designed towards pro gamers or Destiny content creators that have all day every day to play. Such as the difficulty and lack of check points in longer missions. Some of the missions are so difficult that casual players give up without completing their season.
Also geared towards fire teams and moving away from solo players. I get to play when I have time (like MANY Destiny players) that makes it nearly impossible to join a fireteam since I can’t commit to specific times. Not to mention, I enjoy playing solo most of the time. It feels like “me time” and I play at my leisure. I didn’t buy this game to add to my responsibility’s or feel like it’s a job. I bought the game to immerse myself in the realm of Destiny and escape the stress and pressure of performing in the real world.
And bugs. Glitches. Never ending. STILL! Once again, here it is within the final shape. I can get frustrated at work. They pay me pretty good to handle it. But I paid for this game to escape frustration only to realize that I’ve actually paid to become even more frustrated in what little leisure time I have at my disposal.
So Bungie, y’all continue to cater to content creators and this solo player will move on.
Goodbye Bungie, Goodbye Destiny
I’ll miss being a guardian…………
BTW…. I guess I’ll just go back and replay fallout 4. Again. Then probably again after that.

Edited by Insatiable: 6/14/2024 12:49:02 PMWhat a peculiar take . "Get to play when you have time" doesn't mean you can't just join an LFG when you have said free time. I work a full 9-5 and am doing my professional MBA part time after completing my master's in chemical engineering. I still find an hour to go on lfg and complete my missions when I don't have friends on. Again as others have stated , playing solo is fine , but not all aspects of the game will cater to solo players as they have advertised this product to be a social experience. Offerings for solo players are transient.

38 Repliessmart decision and you are not alone. people will change their tune in a few months when this game's player numbers drop off a cliff. let the Bungie fanboys keep white knighting them so you can see how hard they start coping once this backlash hits.

You know who forgot the OG Gjallarhorn? Me because it took me 9 months to get it trying everything I possibly could each week on 3 characters to get it and it was nerfed immediately after I got it. At least you all have ways to get the items you are whining about. Yet you complain anyway? You people are ridiculously unreal. I was stuck behind the worst RNG possible to get the item I wanted, yet all you have to do is find one person to talk or type to for less than 30 minutes. Unreal 🤣

8 RepliesIn my opinion , The devs have designed the game to their liking, a challenge for them which gets greater as time goes on, forgetting about new and solo players. This may not be intentional, but it is still an issue.

Edited by santismago: 6/13/2024 8:08:37 AMthen leave ill still have fun either way lmao TFS is the best expansion we ever had suck it up. also they do not cater to content creators that is the most brainrot excuse ive ever heard (maybe with the exception of nerftagreppo) but in all reality TFS is loved by all real D2 fans and beyond and its expected to be buggy right at launch and if you really had a problem with it then go get a degree and go to bungie and fix the bugs right at launch.

I don't really fet this argument. LFG is available 24/7. So if you're online just go in the fireteam finder and you got a team. There's no need to be online at specific times.
