As it stands Void 3.0 is super weak.
Nova Bomb is a decent super but there are plenty of times that it poorly tracks the intended target.
Pocket Singularity is the worst melee in the game. It doesn't kill enemies in pvp and doesn't do much better in pve unless other debuffs have been applied to targets. In pvp I see players get knocked back from it while being benefited by this and I see some people somehow make themselves immediately coming back to the floor like a magnet and head shooting you to death. It needs to apply weaken or suppression along with volatility to make players who ape with shotguns, subs, and sidearm think twice about close engagements.
All the grenades suck though my favorite is the suppression grenade. It's great in pve but could use some love but in pvp it's utter garbage.
Maybe suppression and weaken need to combine to be one thing.
Last... not enough synergy with exotics, weapons and fragments to really be a contender.
With Guardian Games it's clear that Strand is just over powered. Strand Titan in any Playlist is b going to be deleting everything while you're just tagging along for the v ride.
Game needs some major balancing.
We don't need nerfs. We need buffs. If we over power creep then make the b enemies Neomuna tough.
But as of right now your classes and subs are super tilted.

Personally I would appreciate if they leaned more into the energy vampire theme that was set for it, if we were to follow that them warlocks by technicality should specialize in weaken with a bit of suppression and see how that goes. And screw the melee that unreliable piece of -blam!- knock enemies into me rather than away from me most the time.

5 RepliesThe issue is solar 3.0 on all classes. It’s ease of use and high survivability is what brings void 3.0 down. Devour should be way stronger on warlock. It should give more grenade energy per kill. I should be spamming void nades. They should also bring back atomic breach, but they probably won’t. Chaos accelerant should also make void nades stronger than they are now. Void grenades are about the only good grenades to run on warlock. Scatter grenades need tracking by default and they need to be more consistent. Handheld supernova is okay, but shouldn’t be locked to magnetic grenades. It should be a warlock exclusive grenade option. Axion bolts are a complete joke and should have more seekers with accelerant.
