Has last word fallen off compared to our other hand cannons?
The cowboy fantasy besides dmt and the other tex weapons is rough with last word.

It hasn't really fallen off compared to other HCs as much as it's become outclassed by sidearms and smgs. It operates in about the same range and is just less forgiving, harder to use, and can't be used in the air as well. Imo a catalyst that lets it work like a normal 140/120 HC while ads would help it a lot just so it has some versatility.

Well yeah Bungie destroyed it because it was "Too Strong" on mnk. We can't have weapons that are good on mnk. It's unfair for controller players.

Last word is fine it’s not meant to keep up with other primary HCs it’s more like a sidearm

“Compared to other hand cannons” It doesn’t compare to other hand cannons, so I’m not sure how to answer this. Compared to its actual competition (SMGs and Sidearms), yes it’s fallen off. It’s certainly decent but has a highly specific functional range. While its TTK is good, sidearms and SMGs have similar TTKs with generally better range, more ease of use, more flexibility in that you can run one in either the kinetic or energy slot, and they don’t take your exotic slot. Little point running Last Word over an SMG or sidearm imo.
