They have a right to play. A right to enjoy the game just as much as anyone else. That is way more important than continuity or connection IMO, just because they're not capable of improving doesn't mean they don't deserve the same rights to high end gear and winning at least 50 percent of their matches too.

3 RepliesHow about bad players actually try to improve to not be uhhm BAD anymore???? Everyone of us decent players had to learn aswell. Good luck improving when you're constantly playing against other noobs. This snowflake society nowadays just wants handouts left and right. No, bad players do not have the same right as good players. They are BAD. Try to earn your loot by getting better instead of being part of an artificial skill based system that makes you feel good to make you spend money in the shop. SBMM is horrible for this games CASUAL playlist. It has way too few players, terrible ancient netcode and p2p in 2023. Imagine thinking SBMM works with those circumstances. Even remotely.

how about(i keep bring it Up) we put those players in their own Pool, like Planetside 2. Levels 1-15 dont play with the General Pop, once you accept to go to level 16, you then drop with the general pop. Oh, and i like the Satire.

Both CBMM and SBMM are full of lag, so can I get my "PVP" rewards by logging in?
-
SBMM just isn’t sustainable with P2P connection. It may be the better overall system, but us being an equal skill level won’t matter if you’re teleporting all over the place

1 ReplyHell yeah, I’m trrrible at pvp as well and want to face only other terrible players - but I also want the same loot as the good players.
-
2 RepliesHow bout this. If cbmm would keep almost those sbmm numbers for anything longer than sbmm obviously can then it should definitely be cbmm. SBMM has a time limit that it made up itself and they can't get out of it.

Literally whichever one is the one that is making more people not want to play shouldn't be done. That sentence should really look like that. The high end gear thing is one thing that keeps getting smacked down from like ever part of the community and every part of the community has people that could absolutely care less. So that is why the high end stuff in particular is like that. They could maybe start sneaking more high end stuff into lower skill requirement places and making the way people earn it or how much its know to be good be part of the fact that its supposed to be considered high end. Especially in something like IB at this point. How are would you say a competitive game should make it so you can win 50 percent of your matches for you? You have to do things to put yourself over 50 percent relative to other people in order for the game to be defined as working correctly.

Maybe skill based matchmaking for the absolute bots, and connection based for everyone who’s decent?

Bad players deserve all the gear good players do! Bad players rise up!
-
21 RepliesActually it quite literally DOES mean they don't deserve high end pvp gear. And it's also physically impossible for everyone to win at least 50% of their matches. JFC

3 RepliesWhat high end gear lmao? What high end gear people get cause of sbmm? Name one single thing? These fair game haters are getting desperate in their fever dream delusions...

7 RepliesHow bout SBMM & CBMM in comp and trials since those gamemodes are the more serious games. While Quick play gamemodes have only CBMM. If this gets introduced, I wanna see how it goes. Cause every time I mention this. I get players that'll say this won't work cause of these numbers. I honestly don't care of numbers anymore. I don't play comp cause I know I'm low Plat and high gold if I started trying again unless I suck even more now. Then I'm high and low gold. I would rather have just CBMM. It's QP, let there be only CBMM. While comp and trials be CBMM & SBMM.

1 ReplyI can’t tell if this is a sarcastic post or not. On the chance it’s not, I’ve gotta wonder what makes you think that somebody who isn’t very good at the game “deserves” to win 50% of their matches. It’s not someone’s right to be handed rewards for participating in something. Yes, there should be some form of outlier protection, but catering to outliers is not a smart move in the short or long term.
