All they do is bug out and kill the Titan wearing them and it's been doing this since day 1 in Forsaken.
I don't buy that at all. Unless your gap is barely 10 meters, sure, then it can close the gap better, which is partly why everyone wears mobility exotics for their extra slide distance. But if it's anything more, your shield is worthless and they're too far away to simply shotgun or fusion them. For you to claim it requires no intelligence is patently wrong. A shield that you waste at the wrong time in the wrong fight means it [i]does[/i] require smart playing to use, immediately defeating this nonsense point.

Gaining immunity while sliding is extremely helpful when closing the gap. Pair it with jug to double up. Slap of a fusion and you’ll extend you range and lessen the distance you need to close, while protecting you during the charge. It requires no skill or patience. It removes the risk of pushing.
And yes, you will frequently defend something that’s on Titan. Just because you main a class does not mean you blindly defend something on the class that’s strong. If this exotic was on another class, you would be whistling a different tune.

The rare bug is not a valid reason to discredit the immunity it provides. Good and bad players alike both greatly benefit from that immunity with little to no extra effort. Blinding defend something just because it is on the class you play only hurts the game.

I was just melted by a pretty skilled titan with Antaeus and the iterative loop fusion with kickstart that one shot me from about 25 meters or so. It’s a pretty resourceful exotic if you know how to push.
