There is absolutely no argument for either of these things to have been this severely nerfed in PvE. Maybe for Thruster, as HOIL is pretty OP right now, but barricades didn't deserve this and Gyrfalcon can just perpetually proc the invis so there's no point in nerfing dodge for Hunter's strongest build either.
People will still rock thruster and dodge with HOIL & Gyrfalcon in PvE. Not just because they are powerful but because they are both fun and easy too. So nerfing barricade & dodge only serves to hurt every other build out there for both classes whilst doing nothing to hamper the META.

Let me think about that-no.
-
Get over it
-
How about nooooo!!!!! Ahahahaha!!!!
-
Absolutely the nerf should've been separated they can do it but chose not to for some reason.
-
Don't use citans, the hit point nerf were for citan barricades only, as a titan main on pve I dont see a difference before an after neef as long as you don't use citans. With out citans the barricade only went from 40sec to 48sec an no extra hot point dmg as that only applies to barricades made with citans on, with Hoil it still pretty easy to get your barricade back in pve. I went from run one kick start to 2 on my titan, an I dont see a difference on the cooldown for non citans barricade. Side note I hope your not running citans in pve, they would get eaten up in an diff of leg an up before his nerf was even implemented, they were only good on adept an hero diff, anything above legend would eat em up.

23 RepliesNo. It's fine. How hard where you crutching on class abilities geezus
-
42 RepliesPlease, Bungie, do not reverse the nerf! Nothing is more annoying than titans popping up their barricades all the time and for no good reason at all.
-
Lol what a joke. They were op and way too spamable. Needed to happen
-
4 RepliesNow you will understand the Warlock experience 🤣

I agree playing pve is completely different then pvp. Fix barrier and dodge
-
This. Exactly this. I couldn't have said it better myself.
-
3 RepliesBarrier stays dodge needs reverse . Barrier is just too good . Dodging does nothing when u have auto tracking melee and insane melee ranges . U can’t even dodge out of a titans air melee . Dodge doesn’t break aim assist anymore we have no resistance during dodge . Literally dodge is only utility and that’s it . Barrier can take positions , be offensive . Save ur life and give over shield , allow u to shoot through it , u can melee through it and take no trades bec it doesn’t register the others melee , touching it is death ,u can pop a barricade with a flame wave for even more aggression , compared to just dodge it’s not even relatable

I agree most of the nurfs were for pvp purposes so they should just be nurfed for pvp leave pve alone
-
5 RepliesMost likely bungie PRE nerfed them for a strand interaction or upcoming exotic. They also nerfed dodge cooldown at the start of beyond light before we got bakris. Next year dodge will have a 2 minute cooldown.
-
Nerfs for pvp should ONLY be for pvp fed up of pve suffering because somthing is too powerful in pvp we should have seperate sandbox for pvp and pve
-
2 RepliesYou can run 2 utility kickstart mods on your class items and you’ll get a nice chunk of energy refunded. I run that with my hunter and I’ll give roughly 40-50% (hard to really tell exactly how much) of the charge back. But then again, I’m probably just stating the obvious.
-
There’s literally NOTHING wrong with dodge in pve. Learn how to build
-
1 ReplyEvery hunter class has access to fragments and mods that allow for fast class ability regen. Put some effort into build crafting and those extra 6 seconds will be redundant.

Edited by Sturm with no Drang: 1/27/2023 3:09:14 PMPersonally, I’m in favor of said changes since it does give Warlocks a little more breathing room in PvP. In PvE, this change affects very little in how builds work given how fast you can get ability regen. Besides, if you are running Citans in PvE you are obviously doing something wrong. With all of the exotics for Titans, Citan’s is clearly meant as a PvP focus to act as a buffer from enemy players’ fire. Barricades should always be used as a sort of last resort in where you need the protection from enemies gunning you, like when picking up revives and the sort. I will say, however, that they did overstretch on it and should have either increased the cooldown time or knocked down the health of them, but not both.

5 RepliesEdited by EgosRuin: 1/28/2023 10:36:44 AMYou say "there are absolutely no arguments.." and in the next some sentence you bring some arguments xDD lol
-
6 RepliesThe nerfs aren't that bad, you only have to wait a couple more seconds now
-
Want your dodge fast? Run frostees.
-
Hahaha na just get over it
-
Dodge is fine in pve
-
2 RepliesI agree, but it makes little difference at maximum class ability Stat. Gamblers dodge at max rank goes from 18->21seconds, for example. Still, I'm a little iffy on the effects this will have for PvE, especially high-level, where looping invisibility is down to the second.
